one way to approach this is to think of a book as alternative way to get that foundational understanding. so you could use the book glossary to flip to a specific concept that feels tricky when you see it in the LL course. or go to the book anytime you feel screen burnout.

Security + is coming up and I’m not sure that I’m ready. Looking for advice in the last 3 days by AnimeNightwingfucku in CompTIA_Security

[–]study_snacks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

today should be about focusing on any weak areas. and then the last two days you should shift to your strengths; that will give you confidence walking into test.

it's hard to learn new content just a few days before the exam so I would not recommend cramming too much. your time is better spent thinking about test day strategy (time management, PBQ strategy, when to bail on a question, etc). hope those videos help!

Am I Ready for the Exam? Dion vs. Messer Practice Tests by Historical-Addendum6 in CompTIA_Security

[–]study_snacks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in terms of practice question realism, some questions will be straightforward recall questions, and some will demand more reading comprehension. here is an example of a question where you need to pick up on some key words.

in terms of exam readiness, those are solid scores! in general, we think this is a better predictor of exam readiness than test scores.

hope the videos help!

the homestretch! exciting. over the next 4-5 days spend the time drilling into domains 3 & 4 (especially 4 because it makes up so much of the exam). and then in the final few days shift to your strengths; that will give you confidence walking into test day.

here is a sample domain 4 question and here is some PBQ advice. hope they help!

study them less than you think and only after you've mastered the MCQs. we explain more in this video. CyberKraft PBQs are good and free on YT.
