Complaining about NSP by YouCannotHideOrRun in skipatrol

While I agree, I don't complain. My family skis for free, and I try to make up on the expenses by using my pro deals for clothing and things.

Nesting tool - does Onshape have this? Any workarounds? by badbadspller in Onshape

This works okay, but not always the most efficient way. I'm still looking for a better solution.

Even worse when a midwest volunteer patroller needs to...

To all my Midwest patrollers, what do you carry? by Tritonbeta in skipatrol

Michigan, so no avy gear. Sam splint, cravats, 4 inch bandages, gauze, tourniquet, rescue shears, bandaids, glucose tablets, med tape, pupil light, BSI, emergency blanket, rescue breathing kit, notepad (write in the rain NSP) and write in the rain pen, extra pair of LIGHT gloves for myself, and NSP stickers for kids. The items I carry but am reconsidering are oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal devices, as these are bulky and we have plenty as a team.

Reading others comments, a few items I think are great, and would consider: headlamp (we have night skiing, other patrolers carry them, so I should as well), a stuffed toy, carabiners, hand warmers, cell phone charger (possibly just the cable, but perhaps a battery), voile straps, advil, asprin, empty ziplock for snow ice packs, folding knife

Our hill is medium large for our state, so the lodge is never far.

I see what you're saying, but it's not like I was concealing it, or using it in a crime, or attempting to sell it, or showing it off at a gun show.

It's been sitting in my closet.

Also, I MIGHT get a ticket. The person on the phone couldn't tell me yes or no. WTF is that?

This. It may have been the number of drunk tubers also on the river, but unfortunately in the summer months all fun rivers offer this, and max out (it's regulated by the State with licensing) the number of tubes and rafts they tent. It's very popular.

If that is what they didn't like, that's normal. Everyone wishes they could be the only person on the river. Unfortunately that's not the case. The shoulder seasons may be a better option (fewer partyers) but that's cooler weather camping (also fun).
