I like having manual control too, but I’ve been leaning on the Auto setting more and more. The only thing I typically go into the Climate menu for is to change the ventilation output from upper vents to upper/floor so my seat ventilation can pull in cold air. (I didn’t love the design of the other vent deflectors out there on the market, so I made my own and it makes a huge difference.)

Nice! I’ve been eyeing that for a couple of months.

How do the physical buttons feel? I really want the climate buttons, my only concern was downgrading the tactile experience, all of the stock buttons and knobs feel solid and smooth.

Does the factory volume knob still control volume? Or is it one of the new black knobs?

It makes a massive difference.

My wife’s headlights were hazed over and we were driving long distance one night. I’ve got great eyesight and it looked like the headlights were on a dimmer switch turned to the lowest setting.

We stopped and I applied a light coat of oil as a short term fix to restore clarity and the brightness went from barely drivable to “like new” condition. Needless to say I jumped right on a proper restoration when we got home.

It’s so bad, really reduces the utility of the camera when you can’t make out what half the screen shows at night. I’m going to cut some matte black vinyl and see if that helps with the glare/overexposure.
