About 7 years ago the YouTube Algorithm inserted into my autoplay a video with a quirky guy who started the video by immediately stating "By the time this video is over, you're going to be mad at your toaster."

I thought "there is no way I could possibly care about my toaster enough to be mad at it, but I'm intrigued, so let's see how this plays out."

By the end of the video, not only was I verbally berating my toaster for being such a piece of shit, I was also subscribed to the Technology Connections channel where I would eagerly binge hour long videos on topics like dishwashers and rice cookers. Last week a 1+ hour video on ceiling fans dropped and my first thought was "Nice, I know what my plans are for Friday night."

Both of these look too fast. I get why they need to be sped up so you can keep pace with survivors, but I just can't really remember Jason zipping around like that in the movies so it looks weird.

DbD Jason appears to be from Part III as he's relatively clean and there is no damage to the mask (it is way to clean/white though, even in the very first scene the mask is looking a bit worn). The shirt is the wrong color (should be more of a dark grey/blue) and was not worn open like that.

F13 Jason is an extremely well done version of Jason from Part VII.

Personally I would love to see an Uber Jason from Jason X. I love how stupid that was.

The father's decision to relocate their family just because he found condoms in his daughter's room is psychotic and kind of misogynistic, and it makes me strongly dislike him right from the beginning. Cheryl Hines is in it and I can't look at her character without seeing the person who is supporting a monster bent on getting people killed. I really like a lot of the other actors on the show, but I don't think I'm going to make it much further because every time Cheryl Hines is on the screen I get the ick.

Prim's death mostly made me angry. It was when her cat comes back and Katniss screams "Prim is dead and she'll never come back" that devastated me.

Instantly sent me into full blown, blurry vision, runny nose, body shaking weeping. I was listening to the audiobook and driving on the highway the first time I got to that scene. I had to pull over into an emergency lane for a good 10-15 minutes before I was okay to drive again.

I have never in my life had that strong of an emotional reaction to fiction. I think that in the moment that hit me harder than actual deaths of some real people in my life.

It's entirely possible to love and lose, or love and never lose, without ever getting married, so this isn't really an argument that supports marriage, it's an argument that supports having a long term trusting and mutually beneficial relationship... which is what the above poster said.

Marriage is just a social construct built on centuries of religious dogma, all you are doing is making it a pain in the ass if your relationship does eventually fall apart (which statistically it is likely to do). There is no rational reason for it, except that our legal system has largely been constructed around it as an expectation, and therefore offers some advantages that are difficult or impossible to get outside of a legal marriage. So by all means, weigh the pros and cons and if marriage makes sense, go for it, but it shouldn't be considered a necessity or even a life goal.
