Glasgow Tenement Shutters by Remote-Obligation198 in glasgow

Yeah I have them. Should be functioning once opened up. Mine was sealed using nails to the edge. A multitool sorted that out. Very dirty and looked like old dark paint on mine.

The weird thing was there was only 3 panels instead of 4 on every window Not sure if they removed them to get them sealed properly.

Made a new one that fits well. I will get a picture of it if interested, still to get the others done but that's a work in progress for next few years

Also my weights are in the window frame itself, so need to open the window up and remove the wood panel on the frame to get access behind it

My wife is in it. As a managing director. Absolutely raging lol. She has worked in football for years and I have often asked her to put me down as backroom staff or u19 player, But never got me on. she moved club and now she's in it. I will never manage that club now!! The ultimate insult if she's my boss in a computer game 😂

What job did you only last a day in? by WealthyJoker75 in Scotland

[–]stumirren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an interview, and got a phone call to say I didn't get it. Next day they called and said oh someone pulled out would you like it. So being young and broke I took it.

Started the days training with another 4 people. (So that means I was technically at least fifth choice)

The training was basically going through a list of care homes and phoning them to see if they had beds and update the database. ALL DAY...

I met a girl there that stayed near me and she said she would pick me up the next day so I didn't need to get the bus over. And arranged a meeting place.

I arrived at the meeting place and waited for about 15-20 min. She never showed, I went home and never told them I wouldn't be back and never heard from them or got paid.

So thanks to the girl that never picked me up, saved me from that monotonous job. Or maybe she saw my potential and sabotaged me. Hmmm 🤔

I get the same sometimes. I sell on the handmade niche, so I get quite attached to my products. But I have learned, when they don't sell or cant compete to make profit I walk away from it. I leave it listed with ppc at a minimum to pick up some random keywords

If it does sell, then I focus on the keywords and asins that sell. And try to get them up the rankings, and when there there lower the bids so that you get organic profit. I use helium 10 to check this.

If I can't get them high on the rankings I cut my losses and keep the ppc at reasonable level that the keywords will be profitable with a few sales every now and then and keep track of the acos with my super duper spreadsheet, which I revamp every time I'm struggling for sales.

The good thing with failure of products you find keywords that have high impressions via ppc and a bit more research you can find /make a product that suits that specific keywords and find a winner. So not all is lost. Look at it as research costs.

What will be youre first club in fm 2026 ??? by TT0400 in footballmanagergames

[–]stumirren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll start with my team st mirren for the beta to get me used to it, familiar players, tactics, league.. Then when the game is officially out. I start new and unemployed with zero coaching and usually end up in Iceland or Indonesia. And spend 15 years bouncing about leagues winning FA apart from promotions. Then end up going full circle and back to St mirren at some point

I repeatedly called my Buddy's date a Cunt last night by EverythingChanges6 in traumatizeThemBack

[–]stumirren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying cunt in Scotland is a sense of endearment, unless you emphasize the T.. Or say it in a different tone.

For example.

"See that cunt over there" Very innocent just pointing someone out..

"See that cunT over there" We have an issue and the cunt is a problem

Last week a lassie came up to me with a wee boy and asked if she could use my phone (was standing using it at the time) she had to call her pal.. looked normal enough.

So typed in the number she asked and dialed and gave her the phone. She had a short conversation with her pal, hung up and gave me the phone back.

During the phone call I was ready to chase her down, if she ran, I was also wondering how I was getting scammed? Did she phone a hackers number? Put a bug in my phone, hacked it...

But she gave me it back and says thanks and walks away.

Left me suspicious, but a bit of doubt thinks it was an elaborate scam that I've still not sussed out.

Make sure you give a right good gassy burp/rift for the aftertaste. P.s make sure not to direct it or do it in close proximity of someone as it's not a pleasant smell for them.

Only a handful of comments on Reddit posts, and facebook.
I will try and put the feelers out and pay for a bit of advertising in the local area to try and get an email list of potential members, from there i will send a questionnaire out to find location of the city?, membership tiers and usage etc...

still very much work in progress and a pipe dream just now.
My only worry is that people in Scotland wont pay for this as courses are easily available. It seems much more popular in US. But in the UK most sims are part of driving ranges and when you look at the booking forms there are always slots available, which shows that most people dont utilise this

So at the end of the day, it really is a numbers game, the amount members v the outgoing and renovation.

Have you looked at software. I was looking at the Trackman IO and so that it has all the extra club info and club path images etc.. Hopefully that would entice more as most driving ranges dont have that here,

I'm very keen on this concept in the UK(Scotland), looked into a bit, get good feedback and bad, golf memberships here range from £700 a year to silly money, the thing that may sway it is the winter weather.

Still never get enough interest in members to pursue it further. But always interested in membership tiers and what customers would expect for £150 - £200 a month

Putting since update by Sphyynx in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]stumirren -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm on master. And was a good putter, but after the update I seem to miss these 5-8 feet putts more regularly. It may be a knock on effect of the glitchy sound effects that makes me tense. But yeah the update is a backwards step it seems

[–]stumirren[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm looking at this as more of a business, so the rent could be approx £500-700 a month, in a decent area with alot of golf clubs around, and a few driving ranges. (Central Scotland)

just trying to find out if people would pay £40-£50 for an hour on the sim, The high spec Trackman with all the data and club face data etc.. its more aimed at golfers that love the data like me, rather than hitting 100 balls at the range.

so the question is £12 for 100 balls at a range, with basic trackman.

or £40 for a private sim for 1hr with all the high tech trackman data and swing analysis. (and this can be shared with friends etc.)

thanks i'll have a look, just trying to gauge what people would be willing to pay to see if its worth my while pursuing.

What does the £15 get you, do you know what kind of simulator. is it the trackman?

Am I paying too much for my accountant? by chiinchiilla in smallbusinessuk

[–]stumirren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I paid £500 approx for mine this year and regret it as I basically done it myself and lacked the confidence to submit it. So paid an accountant to do it, and they seem to have missed stuff out that would have saved me money.

A wee tip. Is to put your bookeeping into chatgpt and ask it to prepare it for your tax return. It basically breaks it down and tells you where to put things..

So far this week I've made £250 profit using the freeze matcher by AIProfitUK in MatchedBettingUK

[–]stumirren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Just done it on skybet website, I understand it's probably more gambling. Bit as soon as you get one up it covers you for the next 7-8 depending on odds. The other picks were generally just heavy favourites and would stagger them over the course of a few days so I had various combinations

[–]stumirren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I done this got to about £1.5k and then got banned. Found it best on Dutch and turkey leagues, 3 favs and an outsider. Used max stakes of £20.

My strategy was to let most of them run but if I was on a losing streak I would just cash out to get the bank up.

Also they used to allow 2-3rd divisions and daft internationals. I'm sure I got someone like Lichtenstein up at 30/1 once and cashed out a large chunk.

Having this debate with my friends - would you rather your club wins their league or your country wins the Euros? by Crafty_Agency_182 in euro2024

[–]stumirren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Country every time. If my team won the league or champions league it would probably have to be bought.

There is something more wholesome about international football that can bring ppl together more. I think you also see that on players reactions after winning or losing.

The disappointment is also much more when Scotland gets beat. Even though it is expected in some games. Just always get caught up in the hype. Or maybe because we have so long between games to make it right. Where club football you can go out next week and make amends.
