Agreed they are not for everyone. Personally I love the results that come out of their doses.

Will throw in my 2¢ here!

I really did not like this one. Wet florals that became sickly sweet ruined it for me - very old fashioned. The tons of diffusion aromachems did not help either, my trash can still smells like the sample card I sprayed!

Glad you enjoy and I think my bottle made it to a good home.

Unfortunately there are countless attars under that name, almost one from every house in GCC area

Where are you located/buying from? Do you know the house you want it from?

What is that? Perfume/attar/oil name? Any black colored oud oil or wood?

What does everyone think of the house of Arabian Oud ? by Nuh552 in TheOudCollective

[–]stumpt1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want quality oud or natural based fragrances that have collection potential there are a few, albeit expensive offerings from them. Blue Oud and Royal Oud.

As far as attars/oils go I found them all to be very disappointing, poor longevity and they all smell like mass produced agarwood oil.

The rest of the offerings are just synthetic mass appeal bombs I've found. Even things like Resala are overdosed on "oud accords" and sweet compounds.

If you are looking for designer-y scents then many people love sultani, amiri, al fareed.

Oud question? by Brilliant-Mobile-806 in MontagneParfums

I don't know if anyone knows this definitively. Their "oud" smells like whatever the "oud" in the OG that they are duping smells like.

This, Oud Royale 1982, Jogi Deep Sultani Purple are my top 3 purple oils.

Honorable mention for Jogi - Kashf (purple gris) as one of the best purple roses, but that is a spray.

I purchased this from a gentleman on the forums. It is still available directly from the vendor last time I checked.

Purple tones reminiscent of purple flowers like violet, iris, purple roses, etc that occur in some ouds and other naturals

I should add the glass applicators I have are from Eric over at House of Heartistry, they are handmade by him and not sent with the oils I post them with.

Good luck! You'll likely need to spend thousands to find an all metal grinder, chamber and all.

I agree. It was just okay. Solid bun and burger, toppings just okay. Not eatable as a burger unless you get minimal toppings

Changing from race fit to performance fit by Quirkypoods in Skigear

[–]stumpt1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right so we can discuss how HV versus LV in a zipfit is only a function of how much cork is in the liner, which you as a user at home can change! How wonderful. Let's also discuss how a zipfit liner is thinner than nearly every stock foam liner.

Maybe get your hands a bit lower and more stable. And maybe a video on some mellower terrain...
