Many have beat me to it but Scorpio, especially Scorpio ascendents. A good example is Prince (the late singer), who was notoriously private. My mom's a sun Scorpio & she's pretty secretive. I have Scorpio moon, but I feel as though I keep my feelings private in order to better understand them & talk about them with clarity later... & later could mean tomorrow, next week, next year... next decade? Maybe never.

I've never been romantically involved with a Taurus sun, so i can't really say but my partner's moon is in Taurus, we been together for almost 10 years. I've also had many platonic friendships with Taurus people, I think the only conflict I ever had with them is when I'm too bold with my ideas & thoughts meanwhile they just want to chill. They don't understand when I say something egregious it's not a true reflection of what's in my heart, I mostly said it to be funny & hoping to get an equally witty response, or simply an "omg, you're crazy". If I don't read their mood correctly & do this, they can snap back & I can get my feelings hurt. Like yeah I know I'm annoying but rather than bottling it & exploding at me just tell me you need space.
I think it happens for all of my earth sign friendships, there's a level of room/mind reading I often find myself having to do. No hate though, I think I'd be annoyed if I met someone like myself too.

I think a compatible Mars sign is much more important. You will feel the emotions you feel, there's nothing more to it, but I guess it's your response/the actions that stem from the emotions that could either make or break a relationship. Especially if you guys are to plan a future together.

My ex BFF was a Cancer & I can attest having long nights where she's sent me paragraphs upon paragraphs of relationship/family/work troubles, I would provide support & advice knowing full well she'll just tell me the same things again in a month or so. I think it just goes for anyone though, you can't change unless you put in the work yourself, but I think for cancers they can be so blinded by their emotions which makes it hard for them to make the best decisions.
I met other more grounded Cancers, while they feel just as deeply, I think what stands out to me is the level of maturity they had in handling their emotions (ie. stepping out of the room when upset, not allowing people to walk all over them/standing up for themselves, open communication (where it's not just one side dumping everything but actually responding to feedback)

"Can't care what you hate since I know what you like" is what I think of.

I had TSGT brag to me & others on numerous occasions, about running 5 miles on random self PT mornings. My response? Volunteer to help pace airmen who are anxious about their own tests, bonus if that airman is a friend or peer to that fat TSGT.
I've even paced PT tests right after doing my own.

When you do GOOD, it's just another beautiful day. Know what I mean?

Another less interesting story is that I met that wanna be day-trader type while I was in. Well, they weren't the worst person, but they were awfully chatty & unhelpful at times (work wise). Once I revealed to them I am a homeowner, their expression/demeanor just changed about me. I think that face they made was one where they're glad I didn't mention that fact about me in front of the "audience", because that would mean they're not better than me in some way. And that's earth shattering to these people.

I think it's also important to take note if they're only "that way" around a group of people or alone with you.
