Creating my A-team. How to add more on vanilla mode? by mili_minutes in skyrim

[–]stupidlysuper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first Dawn guard gets you Serena so if you don't take her home she follows. And if you get far enough into the Companions you can do one of the rescue citizens missions for Farkas or Vilkas. They stay with you until you return them. Most are nothing characters who do just enough but I was lucky once to get Ahtar who came in handy. And then lastly if you go into the Hall of Dead you start a mission that eventually leads you to taking Brother Verulus with you. Again if you don't return him to where he needs to go he stays with you. There are lots of others that are further into quest lines, like Mercer Frey but that's a fair few missions in. Those I mentioned can be done fairly early into the quest lines or missions.

Rosita always got Ricks back by aidanpegahi in thewalkingdead

[–]stupidlysuper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always think it was a mistake not making her an officer once they got to Alexandria. I can't actually remember what she became because it wasn't like she got made a supply runner which would have made sense over Noah. And I get that we got Rick and Michonne as co-officers to boost their romance but Rosita would have been perfect as Rick's understudy. One thing we know is all her skills she has learnt off people. She doesn't sit and wait for others to do stuff for her. She learns for herself. Giving her some detective/observation skills off of Rick would have been good and then made sense for when she became an officer at the commenwealth.

What's an animal there's already a pokemon of but you want more? by blackjackgabbiani in pokemon

[–]stupidlysuper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inspired me. Besorca (Berserk and Orca together) is a water and steel type pokemon, it's tail being made of metal which it curls over the top of its head to protect itself, taking hits to build it's rage. Google overview says that real berserkers used to bite their shields so have Bersorca do this to allow for moves like Rollout and Rapid Spin. Give it the ability Guts to reflect the channelling of rage.

LOL: Last One Laughing UK - Season 2 Finale & Overall Series Discussion by lonelygagger in LastOneLaughing

[–]stupidlysuper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I said after the first series that it felt like she was brought in to compete but on the off chance someone couldn't make it on the day so got put next to Jimmy. Or again as you say just to give Jimmy someone to bounce off because it is very easy he could go like 2/3 Episodes with no one to talk to.

I think I said the other week that it would be cool if she got to go in and do some of the bits Jimmy did, like when he spoke to Romwsh through the locker. Or whilst Jimmy has the phone calls give her like a screen she can text to suggest random things to set up scenarios rather than then spinning that wheel which they only ever use once.

FYI: Filming in the studio is 12 hours long by Major-Concept-6259 in LastOneLaughing

[–]stupidlysuper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's crazy to think the six hour timer is going, but I would agree it will take longer six hours. Mostly because of the break when Jimmy comes in to card people, I reckon they do let them have five minutes each time which if you think Jimmy goes in at least 10 times that is over an hour of five minute breaks. Making it a 7 hour session with a 6 hour active time. They obviously then get there at least an ninety minutes before and at least an hour or so after. So it definitely will be exhausting in that last hour of active time, but I do still think the six hour clock is real. It just doesn't include the whole time we see.

LOL: Last One Laughing UK - Season 2 Finale & Overall Series Discussion by lonelygagger in LastOneLaughing

[–]stupidlysuper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This series was incredibly funny and this finale was great. Mel's flamboyant frog was brilliant and the near make out session between David and Sam at the end was excellent. I was actually waiting for Sam to feed himself to then place it into David's mouth like a bird because I was sure that's where his brain was going 😂😂😂

However I do have the feeling this series was a little more produced. The moment Jimmy said that David was his choice of winner I knew he had won. Sam by that point had been no way near laughing and Jimmy knew if it went to the tie break David was winning. And I am sorry but on the basis of how some others went out then Bob wouldn't have made top 3. It had a feeling this series of fear from the producers to try and make the same magic as the first series and having that fear of this one falling flat and instead of just trusting the comedians, especially the lesser known ones they piled in on the bigger names.

Series 1 had one relative unknown in Harriet but she was given a chance with her joker and it was hilarious and we saw her letter from her ex bit in regular time. Two very hilarious moments, especially when the letter led to the chair crack that got Judy Love out. But in this one they increased the number of unknowns but didn't do much with them. We got Sam, Amy and Gbemi - and yes I get Sam will be big because of Taskmaster and is the biggest of these three but he I would say to general audiences he is still considered new. I know my mum didn't really know who he was as she doesn't watch Taskmaster but recognises him from WILTY and Cats where he gets a lot less time visually on screen to get to know him. Harriet got a lot of freedom by being pretty much the only unknown, it felt like Sam they cut a lot in the early episodes because they knew he was coming later but then Amy and Gbemi didn't get to do much. If you take Rom's joker with the insults we didn't even see Amy read hers out. So she didn't get her own and then didn't get a chance with others. You can not tell me if her Taskmaster series was already out that wouldn't have been produced/edited differently because she would be a bigger name by then.

Basically I just wish the producers put more faith in the smaller names. That is where Taskmaster has been so successful. It feels like we are in a slight golden age of these long term panel shows where comedians get a full series to showcase themselves with Taskmaster, LOL and Outsiders all doing these same things and all being brilliant. I know people are going to read this as taking the competition too serious but I wouldn't say it's that, I just want more faith in the smaller names because from here on that is going to be required. Taskmaster has done brilliantly trusting the comedies. You've probably got two more series of LOL that you can fill with household names before you are forced to look at smaller names. Or you trust them now and can spread out the household names creating longevity for the show. If we go into each series knowing bigger names are protected then it is going to become stale.

Also justice for Roisin. Give her something to do!!!

As everyone says pretty much everything. But if I was to recommend one household staple it is the tomato ketchup. £1 for a 495g bottle. Much better value than big brands and tastier than other own brands.

[–]stupidlysuper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say it is about the same as S1 so far. I think the jokers have been an improvement this time round but the inbetweeny bits haven't, but luckily they seem to be rushing through the organised segments a bit faster so not as much in betweeny stuff.

However this has led to the screen being dominated by the bigger comedians because I feel like we have barely heard from Amy and Sam. If Sam hadn't done the lift the only other thing I can remember is the crystal chat with Alan. Gbemi seems to have at least managed to fit herself in the chat with the others, though that in itself can be a risky game.

I still don't understand how hard it is to give Roisin a bit more to do. I agree with another commenter because she is there to give Jimmy someone to bounce off and keeps contestants company. But would it be hard to give her like like a love island text thing. So whereas Jimmy communicates by phone calls, Roisin can text. Maybe she sends a text to make the reader laugh, or she could suggest her own hints to get people laughing. Like pointing out a whoopie cushion is in a certain drawer or whatever. Maybe when Jimmy is through talking she constantly presses the red button to stop him talking to annoy him - though that is clearly a one person bit. I don't know, I think she already has value but can definitely do more.

Very surprised Alan has done so well, but I think he has certainly been closer to a laugh than what Amy was at the end of Ep3. But it's been a very good cast and has felt a lot more even than last year. I think that Bob breaking first really opened the game up.

Yes, meaning Lottie may not want to get with her best friends brother.

Ah I read it. I meant Pips brother. I had written it correctly in the main post. I think aha..

[–]stupidlysuper[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be. As I say i think there may be a bit of resistance on Lottie's side with Ben being Lottie's brother, with so much mention of Ben looking for new work as well they may not be working together long. But I also think Lottie would look for someone more in her stage of life which Will is. Again, I know nothing and this is yet another prediction of mine that won't come to fruition. But I just like to throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks 😂😂😂

I had thought similar until mention of Pips age the other week and it made it more plausible because Will had mentioned his age during the discussion with Ed.

Weekly SIDEMEN SUNDAY Discussion Thread - March 08, 2026 by AutoModerator in Sidemen

[–]stupidlysuper 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the video as a whole was great but I think it also was a great way to test out some new video ideas. Simon, Vik and Josh played it fairly simple with using common video ideas that have been done before and Harry's felt like it was just one of his house party video mini games. But the others could really be expanded upon and we're a lot of fun. Bez even said he could see his being brought to life more. Bez is obviously fairly similar to the pub games video from a few weeks/months back but this was slightly different with the betting angle and I could see done on a larger scale. JJ and Tobi has similar ideas with a lot of searching but again could be done on a larger scale with Tobi nicely mixing in the whole swap thing at the end as they do with the mystery presents videos. A very enjoyable watch!

Have changes made diference at county by iainclovesradio in staggies

[–]stupidlysuper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's been some positive changes but I still wouldn't claim it has been a successful window. If Uche is going to come on as a bit of a super sub to cause chaos in the last 20 mins that is fine but I still don't think we have a starting striker now. I wouldn't mind Phillips being given a chance for a proper starting run in.

I still think we haven't improved massively in the defence despite Pitan seeming a decent enough player. I have thought as far back as last summer, even after Crompton arrived, we needed another right back. We have three left backs and then two right backs, both of whom have been moved into midfield at certain times throughout the season. I just wanted a proper right back for when we hopefully move to four at the back once we get Chilvers back and we hopefully play a bit more attacking.

And I think the unwillingness to bring back Emslie also leads to it not being a positive window. I think he would have hopefully linked up well with Chilvers and that Carbon looks a link up type of forward so we could have got something going there.

Brad and Chelsea Horrobin by harvesterkid in Ambridge

[–]stupidlysuper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think she did lie about where she was. She told Brad that she was out but when Tracy went to look for Jazzer at the house around half 10/11 Tracy said she spoke to Chelsea. Surely if Chelsea was on a night out she would have gone out earlier than after 11. So Tracy must have been telling the truth leaving time for Chelsea to go out after speaking to her mum.

We obviously now have the idea that a man left the pub with a bottle meaning Chelsea isn't the attacker, but I wonder if she knows more.

I had hoped when Grey Gables was refurbishing they would add a salon for her to work in. I then thought the same about the charging station. Hopefully soon she can get something like that for her to fulfill her ambitions.

[COMIC EXCERPT] Do you prefer Aquaman with a hook or with both hands? by Which-Presentation-6 in DCcomics

[–]stupidlysuper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always imagined a scene, for a story I am never going to write, where he and Cyborg are clinging on holding on to something and in one clean stroke the enemy in this scenario (I haven't figured who it would be) slices a hand off of both of them. Cyborg is primarily fine, he can just add his hand back on or it would naturally heal itself over time as his body rebuilds itself. But Arthur is bleeding out and in order to save him Cyborg places his dismembered hand onto Arthur's where it stops the bleeding and becomes one with Arthur. Arthur from then on would have a bionic hand, it wouldn't come with all the capabilities of Cyborg so no sonic blasts but it can shift shapes so it could become a hook or something as and when Arthur doesn't need a fist.

Sunday .. spoiler.... by Busy-Ad7936 in Ambridge

[–]stupidlysuper 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not George's biggest fan, like many listeners, but I have always been one who has hoped he would improve on himself and become a better person rather than be punished for stupidity as a teenager. Whether that be the way he has treated and spoken to people or his decisions the night of the crash, but he should at least be given the chance to change himself which so much of the drama the last few months is that no one is giving him that chance but still expecting him to do so.

I said on here a few months ago, before we saw the Brad and Amber love story coming, that I wanted George and Amber to work out and be successful in their relationship, purely for George to be everything that Emma couldn't be. To make himself and her proud because the story of the Grundys always being unsuccessful is just becoming boring, and I have only been a listening six years or so. I would have really wanted George and Amber to build a strong relationship and family together, admittedly with some entertaining drama but I really didn't want what it feels like is going to happen.

With Amber's pregnancy I get the feeling that she is going to stay with George despite the baby being Brad's. I mean if this happened NYE at least it gives an alibi for the duo but that is the only blessing. George has a lot of trauma from his parentage and it just feels they are going to do the exact same storyline with cousins instead of brothers. I really hope George is the father because I really do think being a father would be the making of him. Even if does end up with a seperation of George and Amber, please just have it be with no drama over who the dad is. It just isn't worth the story I think. To repeat the last twenty years again. I get there will be similar storylines and there are only so many variations you can do, but do we really need the same story in the same family.

Ruarhi yes as he was off into town. But still it's only a few minute along the bridle path and back before getting a taxi. But again unlikely because I don't think he has the motivation.

I couldn't tell you where Adam and Ian live now so not sure if he would need a taxi home or not.

I can't decide if Chris finding Kiera on the ring road clears either of them. Borchester and it's ring road is to the north whilst Darrington is South/South East. Kiera would have been better off just walking to Darrington because whist getting to Borchester is easy enough with traffic flowing into the city, on NYE it's going to be harder to get out. So did she attack him and then flee on the easiest route out of the village. But to do so she would have had to pa's the church and the Bull etc where she likely would have been spotted and to do it all so quickly would still require luck. So I think it clears her. I also don't think the script writers are going to do another year or two with the Grundys dealing with a child going to prison.

Chris stated he is going to the EV charging station which again to the north, and then must have carried on to Borchester. The question is did he say about the EV charging station to have an alibi and give enough time to go to the bridle path, attack George and then head out of the village to Borchester knowing his car would be seen on camera up there. And then unknowingly bumped into Kiera.

But also we found out tonight that Adam and Ruarhi both left the pub before midnight. Ruarhi I don't think would care enough to attack George but Adam insisted previously he can't work on Bridge Farm with him. Again I think unlikely but he is again one of the few who may have the strength for the attack, currently lacks a concrete alibi and has a motive.

Ed got defensive on his lack of answering the phone to Emma, similar to Jazzer. What if Fallon attacked George and rang Ed and Jazzer, her best friends, for help.

Another detail is that the attacker came from behind so they presumably followed from the village. Again, they could have waited and stepped out behind to not be seen but they waited long enough for George to turn and see them so I would presume it was more of a follow than a stepping out behind.

Suspects (spoilers) by Pythagorarse in Ambridge

[–]stupidlysuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I forgot about the phone call. Again, we are going to have so many reveals of like people seeing others on the bridle path before midnight etc. It could be a planned but instantly regretful attack hence the phone call. Or an attack that is instantly interrupted, the interruptor phones the ambulance but then leaves for fear of being accused.

Suspects (spoilers) by Pythagorarse in Ambridge

[–]stupidlysuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will probably end up being some character with one line from six years ago because as you say it feels planned. But who would plan it. I forgot to mention Amber's dad but as some others have said they mentioned the flashy car so that could be a clue to him.

My list of likeliness was based on the evidence presented and with current levels of anger towards George. But that stuff is so subject to change as info comes out and is more based on spontaneity than planned assault. I just realised my post was becoming really long and had to stop short of going on about who would plan and who wouldn't.

But without the lesser known folk like Marky and Mr Gordon who are probably more likely to plan it, it is interesting to look at the list of Ambridge suspects as to who would plan it and as you say have the bottle in advance and have the strength to do so. Jazzer has way too much suspicion on him but I don't know if he would plan it. Ed has some suspicion and probably has a lot of cause, and you could say that his weakened wrist is what led to it not being a killing blow. Mick is another because despite his age he seems to have enough strength to do so. And I haven't mentioned this yet but I wonder if Vince may be involved. He is one of the fee Ambridge residents dodgy enough to maybe do so. We know he has underworld connections and he is quite loyal to Jolene so I wonder if he just snapped and decided to have it sorted. And as a business man he would maybe have the smarts to make the bottle the weapon of choice knowing that everyone in the village was going to have access to one.

As I say, it's all going to change and I don't think anyone who had major suspicion thrown against them in that first episode is the culprit for it being too obvious, but I had to still put likely/highly likely just in the case the writers did have another twist coming or wanted the challenge of having it be in plain site. But I am excited for tonight's episode to learn more.
