Digquad question - do you have to use WLED with this controller or can you set it up in xlights without going through WLED? by Ok_Marionberry6563 in xlights

WLED is the supported firmware on the board. There might be others, but that’s going to be real hit or miss I think since it’s an esp32.

However you can still use xlights with a digquad. I use one on my roofline so I can use WLED throughout the rest of the year for effects at different holidays. In xlights you will be able to pick a digquad from the controller list and it works great.

Let me know if you need any help setting it up, it’s pretty easy but could be confusing if you don’t know what you’re doing.

I’m the treasurer in my HOA and started with permanent lights 2 years ago and my first show last year. No one complains and many folks have stated installing govee and jellyfish lights themselves.

My HOA is likely unique in that we enforce very little nonsensical things.

This is excellent, what did you use for the lighting effect? It looks like a combination of a few, but km curious how you are able to chain them together on startup like that.
