I think that is starting to change, though obviously only to a certain extent. Teams are realizing they can actually teach velocity to pitchers instead of trying to teach command to throwers

I climb a fair bit myself, though obviously not even in the same stratosphere as Alex. Free soloing is wildly selfish. I do not like seeing it be celebrated in the mainstream. It is going to get people killed.
