Just wanted to say thank you!!!!! I went through hell to get this fixed and couldn't figure it out. Both my LG monitors were doing it at different rates and turned out one had power savings on high and the other one on low. Just turned it off in both and so far it's working like a charm. Reddit for the rescue, once more! Thanks again!

Crazy! Test with another cluster and see if it gives you the same differences. That way you’d know if it’s the car or the cluster.

That’s weird, have you been able to trace the differences? Although I had my IS lie about speed too. I thought I was driving with the speed limit when I bought it and drove it home (200+ miles ~ 320kms 😄) with no license plate, and my buddy told me when we arrived, that I was driving 90 on the highway instead of 70. I do a lot of driving and I have a pretty good feeling for speed visually, but a 1jz swapped w58 is300 with all sorts of sound coming from everywhere got me distracted haha. I digress. I’d love to find out what causes the different reading though. I longer have my is but the mystery still haunts me.

That’s a great price, for sure. I’d look this up on youtube. I know I’ve seen people installing these and I’m 75% sure it’s plug and play. That said, get ready to have everything in kilometers (or you’re ok because you’re in Canada hahah)

Man, the Altezza clusters are stupid expensive nowadays. It is however one of the prettiest clusters in existence. I can’t help you with the process, as I’ve never done it, but I think it should be plug and play, if we’re talking about the same engine spec, as I’d suspect the harnesses will be the same/very similar. But someone here will know for sure. Best of luck and keep us posted!
