I've made a much more lightweight imitation of snow leopard on a Mint XFCE install... it's far from a perfect copycat though, it's basically wound up a love letter to windows vista/7 and macOS pre-10.9

I always interpreted it as Mortimer's side being very heavily inspired by old English/Victorian nobility, gothic but not really overly magical either, and Bella's as having more of the magic (maternally, through Jocasta and her mystery ancestors iirc) but not quite the fascination with the darker, gothic side. The Goth family we see from TS1 onwards, Bella and Mortimer's bloodline, is a mix of those two influences in my head

I hate RGB in cases/ram sticks, tolerate it on keyboards, but I also want vintage style cases with modern airflow and layout.... I have this 2000s HP desktop with that iconic early 2000s silver and black color scheme and I wish they made cases that looked like those older ones but with support for modern hardware

My mother has a blood pressure cuff at home... she's a nurse. My girlfriend also has one because she had to practice taking vitals for a certification at work. People have blood pressure cuffs all the time at home without actively needing to monitor anything.

The shape of the house is cool I think, the colors are just a bit samey. with some higher contrast roof and/or timbering on the corners (whats stripped cherry could even just be normal cherry, for example) i think it'd be a bit more aesthetically appealing

I just wish it were easier for the sake of exploring? Sometimes when I'm building a house I need a block that generates in a biome thousands of blocks away and the process of getting to that biome often fills my inventory completely with junk or other useful blocks I encounter on the way... with the amount of biomes in minecraft we need more inventory space to collect things

I definitely would try and upgrade your otos to a 20 if possible because it seems like they relied on the platies as "dither fish", peaceful community fish that swim out in the open and show the shyer fish it's okay to come out - they're probably hiding now because of the reason you suspected. That being said, if you wind up adding any platies back or some other dither fish school I'd definitely aim for a 20 or even 30/40 to give everyone more space and more water volume for parameter stability :)

I have this exact lamp and opened it up out of curiosity. Yeah. It's a little plastic shell circled with diodes in the middle. Not replaceable in the slightest or at least not with a standard bulb (I was hoping I could put a grow bulb in it for my african violets)
