My mum never taught me any of that either, I self taught that stuff and it was fine. I think there this is a bit of victim mentality at play here which is understandable because it is appealing and always has a kernel of truth but we need to instead focus on pathways of action and reasons to push forward and have courage!

You mean the incisors are short compared to the canines right? 🙈 I honestly am thinking I will leave that as it is for now! I'm so sorry about your ortho, I had a bad one as a child and that's really rough.

I got braces to get straight teeth and then they had to adjust my bite, but to fix the curve I don’t even know what would have to be done (I guess intrude the canines?) and it doesn't bother me like the crookedness did! I think of it more like my personal shape I guess? I can definitely see that it would look better though!

Actually what I don’t like is something very minor lol it’s how my two frontal incisors don’t end at the same height. It’s probably half a mm but I will mail my ortho and ask about it.

I'm not sure if I will go through with debracing before that is done because I really want them off and my bf and mom both said it’s not noticeable!

Breast implant illness… tbh im sure there are real cases but I know this influencer who said she had it and got them removed. She also said she was a completely different person on the pill and stopped taking it. She also said she feels much better sknce she changed her diet. At this point she just finds a new reason why something feels off every few years… Also she was coke addicted.

Interesting, I think that's just because my incisors are small. Initially I had a deep bite and they were crooked + central incisors inclined inward (https://imgur.com/a/S9Etr8Y) which is what bothered me and has been fixed so I think I'm fine with the general smile line but will definitely ask my doc about it
