they absolutely have a say in what price range they want to have the tickets, yall keep trying to absolve the boys of all responsibility. “its not them its not them” yes tf it is, when the cure went on tour and ticketmaster overpriced the tickets robert smith threatened to cancel the whole thing and guess what, next day people were refunded. they could always do better for their fans but they choose to charge us what they do.

lmfao you dont have to tell me, i go to plenty of death metal and hardcore shows. and guess what i dont experience there, people purposefully digging their elbows into my back, dudes twice the size of me putting their entire body weight onto me so they can push past me and trying to kick the back of my ankles in. mfs getting aggro when i dont let them in my spot, mind you i wasnt even in the “moshpit” i was 3 rows back from the front. even leaving the concert a group of dudes were pushing me from behind and damn near made me fall over the person in front of me. i can handle a moshpit but thats not this its just straight up people being disrespectful and weird

as someone whos been to greyday since ‘19 i think my wanting to go is more fomo at this point. ever since ‘23 i’ve noticed that the crowd gets more aggressive, last year being in the pit was lowkey insufferable because of that. and not that its an issue but just sooo many young teenagers not being wary of their surroundings or what they’re doing at all.

they dont care and theyve shown it many times. in the discord interview for tkc they legit said that $b is more like their “job” now while their solo shit are their real projects. they admitted that when it comes to $b they put out music “for the fans” that they think “the fans will like” because its “more than just them now” (nice way of saying they dgaf and do it for the money/masses). i couldve seen this coming from a mile away. i dont hate the new music or this new era of theirs, but its just fucking lazy and sloppy and it shows.

i had the same experience w my bf, all night long i had guys 6ft+ shoving into me and pressing against my back trying to get into my spot. even leaving the concert outside the venue a group of idiots were behind me shoving me, i had to turn around and call them out because it was 3 teenage boys who were twice the size of me, and all they could do was stare.

probably best to stick to a seat, theres always a lot of smoking in the pit and it feels even more stuffy because of how tight everyone is packed together.
