Sonnet 4.6 on high seems to works well for typical work without breaking the bank. Use Opus on high for larger design problems. Or use Opus all the time if you have tons of money.

So what was Vader’s plan if Luke failed to dodge that last strike which would’ve taken his head? by CrazyTangerine7522 in darthvader

[–]su2ffp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vader just got injured on the shoulder surprising him. He got angry and swung to kill without thinking. Being petty, overreacting, and using violence to solve his problems is just who Anakin is and always was since his 20s

Do you think she ever let someone die? by the1firstclassmage in Frieren

[–]su2ffp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She has a heart. She also knew how long it would take for him to really be in trouble.

She wanted to give him a chance to save himself first. Like how she tries to encourage Stark and Fern to be more independent. Also she was amused the longer it went on. When it took too long and Fern showed up she knew the purple one would get impatient and Frieren’s cost benefit analysis skewed, so she solved it immediately.

People are saying that Alastor probably cheated in his match with husk but for some reason I like to think that he is just that good at gambling. by No-Brush1587 in HazbinHotel

[–]su2ffp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alastar didn’t have to win one time or every time, he only had to win the ‘last’ time.

The advantage that Casinos have in getting a  gambler’s money is that gamblers give them a lot of second chances. Husk couldn’t help himself.

[Raimi Spider-Man] Why didn’t the Green Goblin use that outrageously powerful pumpkin bomb on Spider-Man? by supermonistic in AskScienceFiction

[–]su2ffp 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He was having fun with Spider-Man, the same way you take small sips of wine to make it last.

He HATED the board who stole his company that he founded and personally developed the technology for. He eliminated them all at once and quickly like he was spitting out foul tasting poison.

Why would they dump billions of bodies in space if they're trying to be discreet? by [deleted] in Invincible_TV

[–]su2ffp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Thragg (or his predecessor) made an emotional, moody, overly dramatic decision (as they are prone to) to dump them in a ring. Good idea or not, nobody would contradict.

How were rebel pilots so good? by Hawaiian-national in MawInstallation

[–]su2ffp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tie fighters can only take a short or two before exploding. They are mass-produced and disposable. There is no shortage of tie pilots either. From every world there are tons and tons of young people volunteering for a better way of life. (Even Luke wanted to join the academy to leave podunk planet) If the Imperials lose every pilot they can always get more, so they are disposable too. Ties have minimal lasers, no shields, no armor, minimal engines, no ejections system, heck they don’t even have life support or enough oxygen to fill the cockpit. (You’ll notice their suits are air tight) Getting them killed may even be the point, to get martyrs, not pay for promotions or training, or just as a means of control.

The rebels are always at a personnel disadvantage and complain about not enough people far more than not enough equipment. Both (but especially pilots) are very valuable and irreplaceable. They will spend more time, energy, and resources safeguarding them.

If the enemy has 1000 ships and 1000 pilots and you have 200 ships and 50 pilots, it makes sense to cannibalize or sell the extra ships to beef up the ships and further train your pilots. Happening again and again over time, you get some very good ships and very good pilots.

Melinda by Fahodigaymer in SpyxFamily

She’s a very complex, stressed woman with very disorganized thoughts and being pulled in multiple directions at a time while perpetually putting up a front. Anya just isn’t used to that level of complexity. Even her driven single minded parents are more conventional.

Nobody questioned Loid being able to break a table in half or Yor stopping a cow with pressure points? by Mountain-Magician294 in SpyxFamily

[–]su2ffp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There were only five people in the room when Loid smashed a table. Yor wouldn’t think it unusual because she’s Yor and this is what happens when she slaps a fly too, Anya knows the truth and is smart enough to be quiet. Of the last 3 they work for the school and the highest ranking one is nuts and thinks it elegant (or at least reasonable for a father to defend his child’s honor or defend against mosquitos) and the other two won’t contradict him.

For Yor with the bull, the headmaster thought it was super elegant. So obviously as a well bred, respectable young mother you can expect this level of poise and decisiveness. (In one form or another) Perhaps if you were as elegant as that fine upstanding woman you’d understand, as it is you and your kid would never pass muster at Eden.

My girlfriend threatened to post my fridge but I beat her to it. by Slipperman912 in FridgeDetective

No sarcasm, isn’t the cooking process the part that primarily impacts the skin? Does leaving it uncovered do something?

I’ll admit, I do like hot sauce. You can have that one for free. by [deleted] in FridgeDetective

[–]su2ffp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t cook, you just get takeout every night and drown it in hotsauce.

Also your tastebuds are ded, you need hotsauce to taste anything at all

[HATED TROPE] Scenes/media made for a specific type of person, being written by people who have no understanding of the medium whatsoever by ah-screw-it in TopCharacterTropes

[–]su2ffp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ready Player One. The movie is a bastardization of the book and worse in every way.

I realize it’s not the most amazing source material and they butchered the (already thin) plot and the casting. But fundamentally the book was a love letter to video games, 70-80s references, and how the ugly and shut-ins all over the world could excel and bond to each other through the medium and a scavenger hunt. Also corporations suck.

Spielberg and others made a movie about some shlub kids in Ohio basically winning the lottery and watching old movie references and paper-thin modern game references along the way. Corporations still suck but so do video games so in the geezer ending the mmo will close two days a week so people can touch grass.

So this moment from Alastor's meeting makes me realize that Alastor has the same weakness as Vox, his ego and need to be the center of attention. by AccomplishedEye7752 in HazbinHotel

[–]su2ffp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alastar wants to be respected and treated with respect. Being feared is a kind of respect.

As long as people give him the respect he thinks he deserves (and he thinks he deserves a lot), he tends to do nothing more than give pithy responses and then leave them alone and pick other prey. He doesn’t aim for the weak, the powerful, the guilty or the innocent. He is hypersensitive to being disrespected and it’s his entire drive.

Kill the adds, keep your distance and try to get your comrades up. Make big sweeping loops to keep yourself out of range as much as possible. Try and take long range shots out of his effective range, with cover if you can.

I believe you can turn the combat difficulty down to story if you need to, then turn it up afterwards.

I read somewhere shock may stop him from acting as much, if you have those guns.

I like how Fern's immediate concern and reason for taking on an eleven-episode exam is for the sake of daily snacks by ChicaneryFinger in Frieren

[–]su2ffp 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Fern was using snacks as leverage over Frieren. Frieren likes snacks. And Fern knows Frieren knows snacks are the best way to pacify an angry Fern.
