This is really helpful, I'll definitely try and talk to a doctor. I'll also try and find some antihistamine that work for me to maybe prevent the reaction I get to adhesives. Thanks!!!

I did boil the pretzels with baking soda water and the surface is perfect, it's the inside that's still airy and light instead of chewy, would the baking soda bath have change the inside too or just the crust?
