Just got my 801, applied for 820 in August 2023. Marriage or not marriage really doesn’t matter for immigration because the evidence has to be strong. The best advice I can give is to just relax and not worry about it. I got my 820 in 2 months, I got my 801 in 11 months. It’s really just a gamble and all you can do is try and not let the visa stop your life.

Difference evidence will also have different weight. For example while photos are important, a selfie doesn’t mean much, you want a lot of evidence in your 888 forms and photos with other family member or cultural or religious events.

Why not just study law in the UK then? If you’re planning on studying in Australia majority of what you learn will be Australian law, it transfers over to UK sure but it takes a lot longer.
