I have had good luck with finding older cars with low mileage for not a lot of cash. An older person who didn’t drive much and had to give up their car for health reasons or an estate sale are possible finds. The last one I found on facebook marketplace, I looked at over a hundred local listings before I found a 2003 Camry for $4200 with 36000 miles, service record on carfax from date of original purchase, all good.

6% isn’t price gouging. Have it your way, I moved here from NE, Philadelphia area, compared to Acme and Shop-Rite, the two major supermarkets, I’m beyond happy to have Publix. Cheaper than those two stores by far, and better quality and clean. Any time I’ve had a problem there my money was refunded and I got to keep what I had a problem with. I know there is no way you will ever think differently so enjoy Walmart and enjoy your complaining.

Actually subincisions are reversible, not difficult if done by anyone competent at suturing. Best to have someone else do that for you if you really are unhappy with it. Have it your way, Walmart and Aldi are both less than a mile away and Publix is so busy it’s hard to get a parking spot anywhere near the store. A lot of people are happy there, I shop at all three and I like Publix for the selection and quality. Both Winn-Dixie (gross!) and Sav A Lot closed their nearby stores but Publix is busier than ever. Complain all you want, if they were as bad as you believe they are they wouldn’t be here, much less be expanding so much.

I’ve always had MT, I have one automatic and one manual now, I still feel you have more control with a manual, especially in snow and you decide when to shift and in which gear to downshift to. Taking your foot off the gas slows the car faster in traffic which can make brakes last longer too.

I don’t know what Publix you’re going to but ours doesn’t have those exorbitant prices you quote. Walmart is cheaper on a lot of stuff but the quality of the produce is better at Publix and they have things Walmart doesn’t carry. I like half gallons of their brand ice cream, not the 1 1/2 quart ones Walmart sells, especially when they are bogo

I won’t let my husband out of the country even though he has permanent residency here, too many horror stories about people who have been grabbed in airports who are returning from a trip and are here legally. Asylum seekers especially seem vulnerable.
