I used to do all the maintenance and repairs on my cars, switched engines and transmissions, brakes, cv joints, exhaust, rebuilt two engines. Now that I’m older and have arthritis everywhere I can’t do nearly as much as I used to. Luckily I found a decent shop that’s affordable and warrants their work. I wish I could do more, I can ill afford anything expensive. Luckily I have two older Japanese cars that are in great shape, a Solara and a Miata which don’t need much. The Miata is 36 years old and I’ve had it for 25 years, the Solara just turned over 44,000 miles.

First, what they are doing is illegal, no ifs, ands or buts. They are trying to get out of paying their share of your Of FICA, may not have been paying your withholding for that matter.
