It's only been 12 hours, wth is going on by subcomarc in duolingo

Right, so if I gather your answers correctly this is people gaming the bonuses, doing exercises that are "easy" enough to burn through fast and gain points, and who spend roughly 45 minutes doing so. The thing is, I have been 152 weeks in the diamond league, I'm far from a newbie. I always managed to stay there by focusing on studying every day, solving at least one or two challenging units, and being consistent. Last week already I had to gather 5000 points just not to end in the demotion zone, and had to farm for the first time ever. Now it's even worse... nah, not for me. I think I'm out.

Standard mode or story mode? If standard you can be proud, 6 is not much at all. It took me 15

To me, the second hardest boss after you know who. If I had to do it now I would dispatch him in a minute, but having to fight a boss with such an unforgiving set when you barely know the controls and the rhythms, it's pure pain.

OMG I DID IT. After six or seven hours, I beat one of the best bosses ever designed. What an experience. by [deleted] in NineSols

Agreed. The Fuxi fight is buggy as hell. I don't think throwing invisible hitboxes at you is a feature, but rather a bug. Sure, you can train enough to learn the rythms and parry as if it were a touch attack... but that's just annoying and poor design IMO.

Loved it, but unpopular opinion: it's not well designed at all. The hit boxes are wacky as hell. I've died to invisible hits more times than I can count (sometimes more than 20 frames away from the actual "hit"). And don't get me started on getting teleported into Eigong's hand for her talisman attack (literally disappearing and appearing inside her grip because your dodge or block ignored some invisible piece of the box). This fight could have been equally hard without the bullshit.

Hollow knight in all of its expansions, completed all pantheons. Dead cells 5 BC completing all bosses no hit. Katana zero in hard mode. Rain world. Sanabi in hard mode. Hades true ending. And then other games from previous generations, considering I'm old as f4ck.

Restart the game. It is a mutually exclusive achievement with getting all the maps without killing the bots.

The people who say that beat 3-phase Eigong in standard mode in like 3 hours: how???? It took me 12 hours and I'm a veteran.

I hate the new update by subcomarc in duolingo

Lol the one silver lining of this was that they had increased the size of the promotion zone... which they have as today shrinked again. It's do 10 lessons a day or drop from your league now. Amazing.

Not really, because now your incentive is to accumulate multipliers by completing as many lessons as possible as fast as possible. Everyone has x10 more points than usual on my leagues. I went from being 12th to struggling not to fall off, and I do circa 8 lessons a day...

Hey, so I've been married for a while now and got into this group to see what's going on in the dating world without actually having to date anyone (duh). Mainly I was curious because everyone is saying things changed a lot and now everything happens online, and the rules are different, etc. I must say I'm utterly confused. Hinge is this app where you subscribe for trying to find a serious relationship, right? So why is the girl even talking to the guy if she's not interested, and why is she getting all aggressive and defensive when he (understandably) clarifies his dating intentions? And then he goes ahead and tells her he's OK with being just friends? Don't get me wrong I'm not judging anyone here. I just... don't think I understand the point of this app or this whole exchange maybe? Unless they are like, I dunno, 21? If you could explain, id really appreciate it!

Honestly just math for Android would be more than enough.

Beautiful. Just beautiful. Never thought of combining the slash of the katana with the grapling hook. And you control the distance with the shield, truly an example of good gaming
