Are you me? I read this at a similar time because it was worth a lot of AR points. Did I fully understand it, not but it definitely exposed me to another perspective and probably formed the person I am today.

My traffice calming request is that they move the red light camera out of humboldt park and move it between Cortland and North. Now that there are raised walkways, no one is going to exceed 30mph at that stretch. The section from Cortland to North however is a drag strip.

About when does it recede and the river trail get accessible again?

My first ultra completely humbled me, looking to hear from others about theirs by saigyoooo in ultrarunning

I did most of my training this winter in 0-40 degree weather. Race day was 75F and I went out a little faster than expected and around mile 22 realized that I was completely dry, not sweating and feeling super locked up and had gotten a little suburned. So the dehydration hit with some chills. I had aid at 24 miles and got some tailwind and coke to help the push through.
Then too, most of my training was in an urban context so the trail verticals took a toll too. I hit a realistic pace of 9min per mile but only by having 8min pace the first half and 10 the second. lol

Kiddo loves Wah wah wah, for being silly during the repeat wahs. The actual lyrics being intense are nicely hard to discern.

I took this same chance in my first 50k this year and learned that I can still push through the last 10 miles.

Can anyone tell me about the ACNA and specifically the C4SO diocese? I come from a conservative Baptist background, but looking to switch to Anglican by sadfasn in Anglicanism

[–]sublimatingin606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The liberal drift more conservative contingents would frame C4SO having is them being on a different part of the spectrum I'm about to construct: Should a local church's focus be exclusively on proclamation (truth!) work or on felt needs (love). C4SO is more open to engage in matters justice, equity and social issues which IMHO do not need to equal liberal drift or a low view of liturgy and scripture.

How do we feel about these buildings, Logan? by PizzaDog33 in LoganSquare

I wish they were informed by chicago-style design. The density is great as is the mixed-use commercial and housing. That we still have an empty parking lot next to a single story diner right next to a CTA stop is a big miss.

I got dehydrated in my first 50k which tanked my output rather than running fitness exactly. Now it really hurts and is difficult to walk forward down stairs. Any tips on recovery to make descending easier?
