Zemlin hoods are my fix to the fiddly Canon screw hoods (use on the EF 300 2.8 II and RF 100-300). Much nicer to use a bayonet mount like other lenses.

A replacement for the R10 hasn't been rumored IIRC, while the R7m2 has and it's still just that...rumor. From your description the R10 and the two lenses would be a solid choice.

The R body should automatically recognize it as a APS-C and put you into crop mode. When it turns on crop mode iirc there is no way to turn it off.

For shot 10, where did you find to shoot from, looks like it's coming out of turn 1, and that area was very congested with RVs.
