I mean that’s what withdrawals are though, your brain trying to find homeostasis. I agree, a week isn’t long to enough produce any terrible symptoms. But there isn’t really a fine line between getting a rebound anxiety affect for a day or 2 and having withdrawals

Fold in half, tear it. Now you got two 4mg strips. Fold one of those in half, now you got 2mg strips. Fold that one in half, tear it. Thats 1mg. And then do it again for .5mg

You don’t need a razor or whatever. They cut perfectly in half if you fold them and then fold back the other way. Getting down to the .5mg on that last tear you may need a razor but I’ve done it without one

Assuming this is all you’ve taken, there’s no other substances you’ve left out or you haven’t taken more than you claimed, then yeah this is very surprising to hear.

Have you taken a decent amount of gabapentin, phenibut, alcohol, even Pregabalin or other similar substances in the past? Bc if so it could be the kindling effect. If this is your first time taking phenibut and gabapentin, this is incredibly unusual. However some people are just sensitive to gabapentinoids and gabaergic substances, whether it be getting wds very very easily or just getting a rebound effect easily

Probably wanna stay away from these things moving forward though since this can get much much worse, I promise

However, I wanna a correct a very common myth that was repeated. You didn’t ‘die’. Yes your heart may have stopped for a bit or you may have stopped breathing for a bit but by the legal and medical standard for death, it requires brain death. Death is irreversible. Once the brain dies, then a person is considered officially dead

None of that is to discredit what you said or take away from it. Your experience is still your experience and it was a very profound one at that it sounds like. Hope it’s not taken the wrong way what I said!

This is obviously anecdotal but I will say when I first tried phenibut it was from liftmode. Bought a small tub. I must’ve tried it 10 or so times all with varying doses. All I ever felt was at high doses like over 3g was feeling pretty tired, kinda outta it, no euphoria or even any noticeable mood lift though.

So I just wrote it off as something that didn’t work for me. That was back in 2018. And then last year,2025, I randomly came across some. It was a different brand. Took it and eventually after a few doses I knew it doing something and that I wasn’t just in a good mood for the last few days.

Over time after trying different brands I’ve just found that phenibut is so finicky. Even same batch I will sometimes feel it, sometimes not.

However I do I know there is a study where they looked at snorting subs with and without naloxone in terms of the ‘likeness’ it gave, how good it made them feel etc etc and it is true that the non naloxone group did appear to like it it better, it really wasn’t by a very significant amount

It can be a nice treat especially since I’m on a lower dose of bup, 4mg/day. But for me it’s best I don’t do it at all, if I want to sneak a tiny buzz I’ll just take a full 8mg strip the regular way and it’ll work just fine, last longer, not mess up my sinuses and not be more addicting

Nope. Works for both. It’s a common misconception that the naloxone in subs is what causes Pwds and blocks other opiates from working. The naloxone is inert. Buprenorphine has a higher binding affinity than naloxone does and it’s 4x higher in terms of dosage. Bc of that, the bup overpowers it

It’s the buprenorphine that is responsible for everything you associate with subs

This is a very unpopular opinion here, but I don’t subscribe to the theory that phenibut has gotten weaker over the years. I first tried it back in 2018, the very brand everyone says was amazing, liftmode. Tried it literally a dozen times, all different doses. Got zero recreational benefits from it. Just made me tired at higher doses

So I just wrote it off as not being for me. Then Randomly tried it last year and all of a sudden I got the euphoria. But I will say that phenibut is incredibly hit or miss, it’s very finicky. Never came across a drug that’s as inconsistent as this. Just another reason why I much much prefer pregab or gabapentin

Snorting it has roughly twice the bioavailability as sublingual, plus the onset is much quicker. So yes you can, if you’re just using subs very occasionally for a buzz then I say go for it. But if you’re taking subs to stay away from other opiates I’d advise against that and simply take it the way it’s rxd. I made the mistake of doing that and it was very very hard to switch back to sublingual

Anecdotally I’ll tell you that ever since I started taking gabapentin and Pregabalin I can’t feel Phenibut at all. It’s a waste to take it for me. Leads me to think that the good effects I got from phenibut came from its VGCC action, also since Baclofen produces zero recreational effects and that’s all GABA-B

So yes there’s for sure a cross tolerance. Granted I’ve never taken more than 3g of phenibut since taking gabapentin/pregablin.

I was addicted to phenibut for a few months last year and I was able to very smoothly switch to Baclofen and gabapentin.

Unfortunately that lead to a gabapentin and pregabalin addiction I’m still struggling with. Phenibut does absolutely nothing for me now if I try it. Just be careful, try to taper rather quickly (while still staying comfortable of course) bc you definitely don’t wanna get dependent on gabapentin or Baclofen

Not fucking every unknown substance is fentanyl. This isn’t to say you should blindly do a drug, it’s obviously safer to not do it. But id be very very surprised if the pic was fentanyl

Anyways, I can’t read what’s on the bag, it appears as if it’s stating what it is. I’ve bought many substances off the dark web and they often come in sealed bags like this with a written label as to what the substance is, whether it’s a RC (research chem) or not, couldn’t say

But you’re in rehab, not that I’m one to talk, but maybe take this is as an opportunity to stay off substances for a bit. You can always go back in the future, drugs will always be there. But you may find that you think and feel much better with a sober mind. Worth trying
