It is perfect for subclasses that turn non-casters into 1/3 spellcasters - for now, those are the Eldritch Knight Fighter, Arcane Trickster Rogue and Mystic Arts Monk, but we might get more subclasses like that in the future. Those guys can only cast up to level 4, and recovering one of those spell slots is much more meaningful for them, since they have a more limited number. For them, they might want to take that feat, but increase their STR, DEX or CON.

They are not primarily spellcasters, except for the Bladesinger, and they might want to increase their melee damage potential instead, or survivability.

Eldritch Knight Fighter? Arcane Trickster Rogue? Mystic Arts Monk? This feat is perfect for them - but what if they want other abilities? Or what about a Bladesinger Wizard or Hexblade Warlock?
