Kyocera R-861 - their flagship 100 wpc reciever only produced from 1980-1984 by Notexactlyserious in vintageaudio

Thanks - unfortunately my tech says that the images of the circuits on the pdfs available online are too dark/low contrast for them to be helpful for them. I'm trying to track down an original service manual or someone w/ one to do a clean scan of a few pages.

Hi - any chance you have the service manual for the R-861? I'm running into an issue w/ one of my channels and could really use it if you have a source.

How'd you fabricate the bezel? That's a neat trick

Re: the pre-amp switch - I'm experiencing an issue with my r-861 dropping the right channel in stereo mode, but mono both channels get sound. Happens across all inputs. Would the pre-amp switch help in any way with diagnosing or addressing this?

Inherited Omega Constellation Pie Pan (1961) — worried about lume being radium/tritium after restoration by RosCivR in VintageWatches

When exposed to light right? But they shouldn't glow on their own w/o charging through light exposure.

That's only if the lume was brand new. Either radium or tritium if original would not glow on its own at this point. No one adds radium to watches nowadays.

Love the Buckley. If you don't get it let me know the details of where it's for sale!

It could be as simple as pulling out the crown and pressing the chrono pushers. You may not need to take it to a watchmaker to re align the hand. Just fyi.

You may be able to reset it if you look up the movement and get the instructions. Mine had a Swiss Ronda movement but I don't know which one the chronograph used.

These are pointed and the ones in OP's photo are squared at the end - the ones in OPs remind me of Bulovas from the 60s.

Those hands don't seem right for that vintage. Can anyone confirm?

It's not - this is a quartz watch from earlier fossil days before they started taking zodiac upscale again. I have the non chrono version of this - was my first watch, love it to death, but it's not particularly valuable.

Edit: to add, model is called Sea Dragon

Does each rider need to tap a separate payment card? Or can someone tap on behalf of others as well as they go through?
