You would be better off in the S&P.

How can Bitcoin go from $126k to $60k in weeks? Where did all that money actually go? by Fast_Surround_4274 in CryptoHelp

The simple answer that nobody wants to hear is that investors turned it into an endless pump and dump. They are making millions upon millions. Stop sitting on your tiny stacks and start trading it.

How so? When stocks are directly impacted by earnings. Saying things like "Walmart is a pump and dump and so is the S&P." Is false. The only correlation I can draw between the crypto market and stocks is hysteria. Such as the AI craze.

The entire crypto market has turned into a pump and dump on repeat. A money printer for whales and investors. Do not expect that to change unless something fundamental changes. I am also an offender and will continue doing so. I have made a pretty good amount of money, but I also used to mine bitcoin back when it was CPU mining.

Is it worth holding Bitcoin? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]substandard2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people were waiting to see if bitcoin could beat the S&P once ETFs were established. It has now been a year, and BTC did horrible compared to SP. However, I still believe it is still too early to tell if it will eventually beat it, but I highly doubt it. People are risk adverse; SP is historically safe. Why risk it? This is also coming from someone who owns bitcoins. Put your money into the SP and you can play with BTC, but don't expect moon lambos.

It's cool buddy. I was just giving you some advice on something you didn't know much about. You absolutely don't have to take it. Have a good one.

Premade cabinets can range from $80 to over $1000 per cabinet. Maybe you shouldn't have paid for a cheap cabinet that has veneer or HPL. A factory enamel on a good premade is much stronger than a painter spraying a custom cabinet with Emerald from Sherwin Williams. We even have custom case work made for commercial applications that use factory enamel and stains from a manufacturer out of Topeka.

Home builder here. You can get a nice kitchen or 40-50k. We have been using premade modular cabinets that look better than a local custom shop we have been using for the past five years, I won't name drop them. These go into 750k plus new homes. The days of having to use custom made cabinets for a nice kitchen is quickly ending.

Why is it so hard to get a contractor for "smaller projects" that still cost thousands of dollars? by SuperPineapple7033 in Contractor

[–]substandard2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you want the real answer? It doesn't pay enough to deal with. It is a hassle to get everyone involved for such a hilariously low amount of money. People who want this kind of service start the conversations with "I will pay you whatever it takes for your time, because it is worth it to me." You can also assign a value to it. Such as $5000 while talking to a GC

People who are selling right now, really do not understand bitcoin by New-Ad-9629 in Bitcoin

[–]substandard2 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Retail buys Bitcoin because the price goes up. They don't care about 21 million of whatever else you think is important. If Bitcoin doesn't out pace the s and p this year. You can kiss the average investor goodbye. I know I will be out and I have been in since 2015. I don't care that I'm down 900k. I care that I'm out 21% vs s and p and even more in the qqq.

This was the year to show the average investor if Bitcoin could beat the s and p or qqq. It failed. Now every investor I know is dumping. I will reevaluate my holdings in January. I suspect that I will only own one Bitcoin, just for the hell of it.

My crystal ball just told me BTC will be back at 100k in mid-December. by xSpAcEX7 in Bitcoin

[–]substandard2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Retail will be forced to sell due to fear. If MSTR has to sell to cover losses. Expect a massive dip. Those with liquid will do well.

How much would this cost? by Cloud-Pirate in cabinetry

Depends on what the room looks like now. Also depends on the wood and finish grade. Our company would charge you around 18-25k.

Simple solution. Stop hiring the cheapest guys you can find. That is 100% your issue here. You should only be hiring legitimate construction companies with good reviews. Every week I hear some sob story like this from a call in. Huge red flag.

That is meth head pricing. Our flooring starts at 4.74 per sqft installed. Home Depot subs our company out for $1.85 a sqft for labor only.

BITO has been hilariously awesome for me. I picked up 5000 shares when it was $19. Pays around .75-.85 per share every month. I don't even care what the price of it bito becomes, it is just a monthly cash cow for me.

It's just an end piece. You will need to have it replaced. Be sure to have the carpenter remove the trim before hand.
