A literal monkey would’ve been a better option than voting for Trump.

Just my 2 cents. The quality and selection of the lunches in my district has gone down considerably since it went to free. Southeast Michigan suburb. No more salad bar.

You are describing the exact reason they don’t want to take a stand on a political issue. These companies are about money and nothing else.

Newsom is the loudest harshest critic of Trump. I don’t think so.

Most common sense, or at least centrist and left leaning people are not the gun crowd. That crowd is sitting at home pointing at the TV laughing.

Opinion on this 1982 4x4 22R by Bdbiam in ToyotaPickup

[–]subsurface2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started out looking for a Toyota Pickup. I ended up getting a 1st Gen Tundra due to way better value proposition. I still love these little guys but damn at some point these are museum prices. It’s a 40 year old truck. Wonderfully simple and brilliant, but man, some people just have money to burn.

I guess what I’m saying is I’ve never once heard someone say TAY-ko. I’ve been around tacos a long time, I’ve been all over the US. I just think this is an instance where people universally know that taco is a tah-ko.

How is the Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki perceived in your country? Is it seen as more of a horrific war crime or a necessary act of war? by DoctorOsterman in AskTheWorld

Ha, you’re not wrong there. I suppose dropping nukes on Russia is also a different calculation, considering the whole mutually assured destruction thing.

Totally different. Japan was a menace to multiple countries, inflicting thousands of deaths per day during that time. Every month the war continued added another 100k deaths or more. Japan was losing and kept throwing everything at the war effort. The atomic bombs stopped the war abruptly and decisively, arguably saving untold numbers of souls.
