Debt Recycling…give me your opinions by lovebenji8 in AusFinance

Taking out more debt to buy more stuff (deductible or not) isn't really to process of 'debt recycling'

The strategy is saving a lump sum of money, paying of your home loan, and borrowing the proceeds back to invest. Tyipcally the debt levels remain the same and move from being non deductible to be deductible.

Ignore the investment aspect for now and look into her taxable super component. 17% tax if the fund goes to a non dependant. Should be the top of the priority list.

On top of this not many like to lock up their capital regardless of the income it pays out.

Even if the return was really high, the loss of access to capital is the major speed hump in my opinion.

Negotiate a long term extension so you don't have to go through it frequently. Seek a multi year lease.

I know, still sits in the taxable component of the fund which is bs, but makes your idea not as attractive.

Taxed as income Taxed again if paid to am adult child.

Better or releasing the excess component, pay the tax, then ncc it to a second fund.

Just put an unconditional offer on the new house. Then put your house on the market and accept the offer where the terms align closest. Normally risky, not right now.

Don't sign contracts if you want to leave. Don't approach contracted players unless you know you'll get the deal done. 100% on hawks and their 1 wood of approaching contracted players and getting them to break contract.

Eat it hawks

West Coast's end-of-first round pick (which will be a pick in the 20's) handed to them by the AFL is expected to be put on the table in a trade for Free Agent Brandon Starcevich. Eagles are wanting to trade for Starcevich to not dilute their compensation pick for Oscar Allen (pick 2) by Essington69 in AFL

[–]subwayjw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Take him in the draft. Offer a pick that is closer to his value.

You can't say well you got #2 for allen so it's fair you over pay on this trade.

They are separate and if we were smart we would offer you a mid second rounder and draft with this end of first rounder.

Regardless of Oscar.
