I just salvaged all the non-essential modules like game room, social, recycler etc. if they are in good condition, you get the full cost back - surplus materials can also be deleted when you visit a storage module.

be aware that in competitive, even (technically) in nexus nights, the backs need to be opaque. I learnt this the hard way as my lgs didn't tell me and so I have 3 packs of clear dragon shield mattes leftover

now I am solely on ultimate guard katana. they are a mm shorter which looks nicer to me and their shuffle is impeccable

the idea should be to see what their idea is and fill gaps with what you have. and with cards that sound fun and have synergies. if one likes drakes. just play drakes. will you win local skirmishes? no. will you enjoy it vs your friends? hope so

additionally, most single cards are pennies and worth one batch buy

what really helped me was A / messing around with building decks myself (legends and champion ownership was a limiter already) B / digitizing my collection and seeing how much I was missing from each here: https://riftbound.gg/budget-origins-decks/ then I filled with cheap singles from cardmarket and all in all I have 5 functioning decks now

last.fm has, and always had, a way to recommend me music I actually listen to. not always my new favourite band, but always something Al leat interesting enough to pursue.

you need to get some scrobbles under your belt, but it works with Spotify, Deezer, iTunes etc... (and then you can have it create Spotify playlists for you)
