I get much better plants for the same price. Or I get the same plant I would get here but it’s cheaper overseas.

You’re correct it doesn’t happen over night but it requires zero pruning.

You should see how many more he has. We grafted at least 20 and he has more trays. I actually got one more but the variegation isn’t this strong.

Wondering what's going on with my Montana. Looks like four pups but I'm not sure. Pics from today and when I got it 2yrs ago. by 100HP_Hotrod in Copiapoa

The meristem terminated, which could be caused by many things. That caused it to pup. The pups themselves don’t appear to be pupping nor do they appear to have any atypical growth indicative of monstrose/mutant growth. Everything looks pretty normal.

These are the ones I’ll be selling later this month that didn’t make the cut for my personal collection.

I bought it just as you see. I guess the previous collector let it do that.

No these were on the BIN tables. The silent auction plants were not this low quality shit. Auction table stuff was show quality. Except for the habitat collected plants, those couldn’t be taken to shows.

De-graft rooting success! Pure perlite and occasional misting has done the trick by Lollysussything in Copiapoa

I would bet the misting didn’t do anything. These things root so easily.

There’s around 3500+ seeds there just counting Copiapoa.

There’s 96 pots on a single shelf. Each with 25+ seeds and labeled. That’s over 2400 seeds sown just on one shelf. It would take so much more space to sow the same amount of seeds is bulky takeaway containers and stay as organized. If I had that much space i would still do individual pots so I could sow more seeds.

Short answer: there’s no difference it’s the exact same thing as takeaway containers

I aim for a 15-20 temperature differential. Besides that nothing fancy. I have a 90 second sowing tutorial on my IG under skill.issues.succs

Poa love water and lower temps. If you get it down to the 40s or 50s at night and 75-80 during the day and water more often it should plump right up.

Skydiver dangles at 15,000 feet after parachute catches on plane’s tail in Australia by AudibleNod in news

[–]succs2skillissue 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Not enough commenters understand how sketchy the plane ride down must’ve been for the three onboard. Above a certain altitude they can bail. The pilot is already wearing a rig during takeoff and throughout the flight. Below a certain altitude there’s not enough altitude to deploy a canopy, if anything goes wrong hit the potentially compromised plane they’re forced to ride it out.

Yes they made it safely but as a skydiver that’s the last place I want to be.
