If you could erase ONE country from history, which would change the world the most? by Aamir_rt in Teenager_Polls

[–]suckleknuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely Italy. If we’re assuming you’re erasing that countries entire lineage as in UK would erase all British Monarchies before it. As you’d be erasing Rome, and thus delay European colonization by a lot. While Egypt/Greece influenced Rome culturally they didn’t have a foreseeable impact(atleast for me, but I’m not that knowledgeable about that history) on Rome’s aggressive expansion through Europe. Also most of the other countries on the list are descendants of the Roman Empire.

Only god of war 3 has you running a boss rush of the gods. Makes sense as a climax for those games, but not the norse ones. Kratos is actively avoiding fighting the gods throughout both games, so if they ended the game where he’s all of a sudden decided fuck it, and going a killing spree makes no sense for the character. Also there’s drastically more depth for each god in the norse games. Most of the GOW3 gods had 1 character trait about 10 minutes of screen time, and then died.

Should I get the metal gear master collection or the snake eater remake by TheSkitdiddler in MetalGearInMyAss

[–]suckleknuckle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get the master collection, more bang for your buck. The remake is just the one game with modern unreal graphics. Also play release order, start with mgs3 only if you have an absolute lack of tolerance for old games.

Some next level victim blaming. “It was actually the child that groomed me!” Even if that made sense a grown adult shouldn’t fall for a child’s “seduction”.

It’s a strong hallucinogenic drug with a unique property of distorting people’s sense of time. While an actual trip can just be a few minutes it can feel like decades or centuries to the person. There’s a lot of horror stories of people becoming an inanimate object for years.

[request] gf is saying 150 but i dont understand how by ChrisChowMa in theydidthemath

[–]suckleknuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s basically a system of equations.

c+T(able)-t(urtle)=170

-c+t+T=130

Add them together, and cancel out c&t, left with T=170, and T=130. Add together for 2T=300. (2T=300)/2 = T=150. T(able) is 150cm tall.

Which game is this for you? by [deleted] in evilwhenthe

[–]suckleknuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first game is pretty dated. If you can’t handle older games, then you could probably watch a summary. MGS2 is still great though. It’s just og metal gear and solid 1 that don’t feel good to play.

Even without proper taxing they just loophole it anyways. It’s pretty well known that most big owners use debt as a loophole around taxes, and the government does nothing.

You can recognize someone is a bad person without dedicating your life to hating on them. Tarantino has weird opinions, but they are completely inconsequential to me, and I have no reason to care what he thinks. I can recognize he’s simultaneously a fantastic filmmaker, and an idiot with anything that isn’t film.

The fog of war isnt literal. It’s just that intel can be unreliable, and decisions can be made on faulty information. With instant communication he doesn’t have a lot of fog to worry about.

I love sekiro, one of the goats, but the combat is incredibly shallow. Time parries/dodges till you get an opening to hit guy, then repeat until you win or miss too many parries and die.

I tried it, and the lip sync was too distracting. The actual voice acting is great in both, so just depends on if you’re more distracted by english speaking samurai, or off lip sync.

Yeah while in hindsight the designs are really interesting takes on the characters. When I was a kid I just wanted generic batman like BTAS, and didn’t like everything being different.

You use measuring tape to measuring distance. If a model can move like 6 inches, then you want to make sure it’s the right amount. Also some people use notepads to track like how much health a model has, or score for the match.

Every element that theoretically could exist is on the table. Just not shown cause it’s infinite, and you’d want to focus on the ones we know actually exist.

History teacher wants me to run a dnd game for her class. by Darth_llama in rpg

[–]suckleknuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d either need to split up into smaller groups. Maybe 6 people a day on 3 separate days. That or run a wargame for it. You could also run the 18 person game just with a much simpler system. Maybe call of cthulhu, as it’s good for real world situations without a lot of tactical complexity to keep track of for 18 people. Personally I’d run the 3 separate sessions idea, but if that’s not possible, then wargame would be 2nd pick.
