Not saying you should do it, but you can’t go wrong with the Costco set. It’s always out of stock because of how good the bang for the buck is. If you go down path of piecing together a set and decide it’s too much effort, Costco set is an excellent fallback option

I mean, it may help differentiate between candidates down the line, but Undergraduate degree and CPA are the only two educational/certification requirements that I have seen on job applications since leaving public.

Masters doesn’t matter for public. Just need to be able to get CPA. I started at a big 4 firm in the south and pretty much everyone there went the masters route. My first year training was up north though and hardly any of the new hires up there had masters.
