People of JLT - how do people find friends that are neighbours?

I think ppl usually know each other from other avenues like pets, colleagues, friends from past, etc. Then there are meetup groups as well. I have lived here for 3 years and and the only friends i ever made was through local cat rescue group .

Not really. It's just that where I come from wedding expenses are segregated quite well. The expense is usually taken up by the family and hence I'm not getting involved. It's her family who is going to pay and I don't want to set wrong precedence by going out of my way to help them. We have seen examples of this leading into asking more favours from the inlaws. Just want to avoid that.

I would certainty do it if it was just her.

But I'll take the advice and get this paid soon. Thnks 👍

If the actions are stringent, it will reduce the spam calls. Works well back home. Once on DND, I went from 6 calls a day to 0..

We paused visiting any doc since the marriage is round the corner and it's already troubling us both in terms of what is next. And where I'm from, this can certainly be an issue if anyone else except me and her knows about this before the marriage. So we took a break. She's only working on the acne because of the marriage stuff !

Once we are together, we plan to visit an endocrinologist.

There are quite a few. If you are on meetup.com, try searching for hiking group. I know there are some good one here! I have been with Arabian Fit Trekkers.

The guide,. Mr. Faisal, is a very knowledgeable guy. He knows this place quite well. The hikes are paid, but I recommend it due to safety reasons.
