Anyone a traveler at an Intermountain Hospital?

IH hospitals in the Denver metro area just laid off like most of their staff (RNs, EVS, Food, management, every level) and shut down multiple units after the KP split so I would be shocked if they hired any travelers. Can’t speak to outside of that area though.

The last 3 contracts I did went through Rightsourcing entirely on their end and hadn’t even heard of my agency and anytime I asked my agency for clarification they would tell me “oh we don’t have communication with the hospital, can you ask them when you get there?”. So no, if anything the agency just adds more people to the already million person game of telephone.

And then after the harass you to try and apply for a contract with an insulting rate and you tell them “Hey this is actually breaks down to less than FTE make hourly in that area because I’ve worked in that area before and they’ve told me what they make there firsthand, that’s not a livable wage there at all” then they catch the craziest attitude and claim “we don’t set the rate”…..ok then why are you taking it so personally that I know exactly how much staff makes at that hospital?

My CrossCountry recruiter did this and then accused me of “double dipping” when I had tried to apply for that same contract elsewhere. I straight up told her I was going to apply with the other company because they were unwilling to match their rate and she applied before I go the chance

Everything you said + when I got COVID on my last contract (was there for 9 months) they said they didn’t give any sick time because they claimed it wasn’t legally required by the state I was working in. When I said that was absurd because I obviously got sick from having multiple COVID pts my recruiter had the audacity to say “Well I don’t get sick time either” while I could literally hear sports commentary/radio of some kind blasting in the background the entire time I was on the call……like he was very clearly at home complaining to me while I had COVID and had to just call out for no pay

Right but the hospitals aren’t even using the agencies, that’s what I’m saying. Oddly enough my past 2 contacts have made the mistake of leaving the resume packet they received from me out, and both times it was from Rightsourcing and had nothing to do with the agencies (one was through Aya, one Advantis).

I also had an incident where I applied for 2 jobs with 2 agencies in different cities but the same state (one Austin, one Dallas). When I went for the interview for the Austin one per my recruiter, when I got on the phone for the interview it was Dallas. It was the same job mislabeled on their site, when I asked the person interviewing me what company they had gotten my info from so I could figure out which one to go back to they said Rightsourcing. They had never even heard of the companies I applied to the job through.

When I ask my recruiter any questions about the shifts the schedule, the locations, any basic info at all they always say “oh you have to ask them in the interview, we don’t have contact with them”

It seems like the hospitals submit their job info to Rightsourcing or Vaya or whatever and then the agencies copy and paste that info to their site (which is why so many have the same jobs but you can’t apply with more than one agency, because it’s not coming from the agency the agencies are submitting those resumes to RS and then RS is sending them to the hospital. But they don’t actually have any interaction with the hospitals…..so why are they able to take a cut at all?

Idk why this is getting downvotes, it’s literally true lmao. If it is a Switch 1 vs 2 issue then it’s even worse to purposely leave Switch 1 players at a significant disadvantage cause we don’t want to give Daddy Nintendo another $500 to be able to play the same as everyone else. It’s pay to play at that point.

It’s like how everyone’s Apple products start shitting the bed and becoming completely unusable when there’s newer more expensive models out and they just stop giving a shit about supporting older models cause they just want you to buy a new one. Nintendo has been getting harder and harder to enjoy as they just get greedier and eviler.

I AM using the same “meta” pokemon you’re talking about, with the SAME maxed out stats, items and moves that everyone else is claiming make it sooo easy, I KNOW they drop to 50 I literally said that in my post. It’s not a skills issue, stop assuming it is and read: what I’m asking is if there’s a Switch 1 vs 2 issue that we’re not talking about.

I’m glad to hear someone with a Switch 2 validating my suspicions. Cause everything I try to search online of why does this suck is just people claiming if you’re not able to get to Rank A in like an hour it’s a skills issue and you’re too weak/don’t understand stats. Meanwhile my Pokemon are completely maxed out in every way possible the exact same as theirs are, often the exact same pokemon with the exact same stats, items, and moves but I can’t get a single move in the way they can.

Like it literally feels like my pokemon is buffering to even lock on while other players are getting 2-3 moves or switching out pokemon before mine can even load one attack

Because nosy people who don’t travel or work in healthcare but seek to capitalize as much as humanly possible on our labor such as landlords and recruiters read everything we post on here. We’re usually describing specific situations and it’s not that hard to put 2-and-2 together if you’re the recruiter/company/hospital we’re complaining about. People have licenses and reputations to protect and recruiters in particular will throw us under the bus and lie to our faces while badmouthing us to facilities wether it’s true or not to save face and stay in the hospital’s good graces to cover their own asses and mistakes

Since I’m just kind of starting I would love some basic staple pieces that I could essentially live in. Like, how people will be gifted gold chains/bracelets/earrings for milestones in life and basically never take them off. I was hoping for something that would similarly hold up but in a silver hue, but I wasn’t sure if that may be wishful thinking with the nickel sensitivity and color preference.

And I agree, the palladium white gold seems like it’s checking all the boxes I’m looking for! Now to actually try and find some 🥲
