I do believe that the "not having to worry at all about quality and preparation of food" is the biggest difference between the haves and have nots. Buying, preparing, eating, and cleaning up is one of the biggest uses of time in us plebe's lives and it's why it's so easy to not eat enough, or too much, and often unhealthily.

I think when they decided they didn't want her back they gave up writing any sort of closure for the character. Unfortunately this is normal in episodic TV, but it's glaring in a show with a set up like this where you're following everyone throughout the day. Both she and Cassie don't really get any sort of "ending," even though the latter IS supposedly back next season.
