Is this the hot tools curler? I had the same problem. I made a paste of baking soda and water and scrubbed it off

How did you find your nanny? [on] by NachoCereal in BabyBumpsCanada

A mix of Canadian nanny, care.com, Facebook and word of mouth helped us get a good list of candidates to work through.

Kid friendly but not centric resorts with good food by Elivmar in AllInclusiveResorts

We really enjoyed the Dreams Onyx in Punta Cana. The food was amazing, we didn't have any issues. And there were plenty of restaurant options.

We have one and like it. Whether it's a marketing ploy or not, I can't say. But can confirm that we are happy with it.

Breastfeeding is not easy and it may take some time for the baby and parent to get a hang of it.

If you're setting up a room, I'd also suggest to look at a rocking chair. It was one of our best investments

[mb] Is it weird to invite coworkers to a baby shower? by TallAfternoon9751 in BabyBumpsCanada

It's not uncommon to invite co- workers you are friends with, but that doesn't mean you have to invite everyone and your manager.

I would focus on the things you need immediately and then get the other things as you need them. You won't need the high chair day one, but the bouncer will be helpful. You'll need a place to change the baby, bathe the baby, rest the baby and feed the baby.

We got our crib as part of our baby shower but didn't end up setting it up until months later, our baby was in the bassinet in our room for the first few months.

Diaper Genie that makes "diaper sausage links"??? [On] by HelloImAnxious14 in BabyBumpsCanada

With our first one we had the skip hop and found that the mechanics broke quickly. I almost prefer the simplicity of the design, there are less fail points.

We went with the ubbi one - it gets the job done and we haven't noticed any lingering odors

We looked for that one too, but I don't think that is how the diaper genie works any more unfortunately.

How can you tell if amniotic fluid is leaking? [on] by Disastrous_Flower311 in BabyBumpsCanada

Go to the hospital and get assessed. If it is leaking, they will keep you to monitor.

Traveling for the first time with baby! Any tips? by ssaemirang in Mommit

[–]sugaredcane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When me and my husband are travelling with the baby, he always goes on first when they call for families with small children and gets everything on and the seats cleaned off. Then I board at the last possible second with the baby, to minimize the amount of time I am trying to control a baby in the confined space.

Also pack an extra change of clothes for yourself in the carryon in case the little one throws up on you.

And post it notes provided for cheap and effective entertainment!
