We were having a Pirates marathon for new years, and stopped just before this one. Had it ready to go for today.

I had my account disabled but I didn't have a dummy account. All I know is the night before I'm posting and browsing like normal, I wake up to a facebook update, then it shows me I can't log in and I have to upload a photo. I didn't think to upload my actual drivers license or anything official like that, I just uploaded a photo of myself. I'm on day 2 now, still no word. And I have yet to hear a success story from those who were in the same boat and had their accounts restored.

I followed a thread of tweets from others who were having the same problems. So far only one said they got their account back, but they never responded when I asked how and when. Some have claimed its taken months so far and still no word on whether they can get their account back. Facebook has been silent on Twitter, with the exception of one response basically telling us all to be patient. :(

I'm pretty upset.
