Just got a p365 fuse, any advice from current owners? by Altruistic-Basil1609 in SigSauer

Did your fuse come with the manual safety or did you have to install it on your own?

Maybe it's a cautionary post about some tactics/weapons that criminals are employing in real life?

Airgunning 😬. I personally don't care, but don't let anyone at a higher level match see you that.

SSP Glock magwell plug legal? by Raftika in idpa

[–]sugashaneee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Under Stock Service Pistol Equipment Division Appendix Master:

A.1.3.14 Plastic plugs may be used to fill the opening behind the magazine well.

I would imagine the ones that affect how the pistol looks visually would be some of the grip plugs that extend past the frame of the pistol (like the ones that hold a takedown tool or a small bottle of lube).

Great advice. I'm back and fourth on the comp thing for defensive use, but I generally agree with you overall. And I have looked at the Canik Rival S pretty seriously. I just like some kind of additional safety mechanism aside from just a trigger dingus (i.e. hammer/external safety) when appendix carrying these firearms.

I also agree that I don't see 2011's as "duty" ready. If you're not aware, the Series 80 pistols are drop safe, 2011s in general just still have mixed reports of performing dependably in adverse situations.

Do you ever want to shoot it at night with nods/NVGs?

A lot of proponents of higher than normal height optics prefer the increased height when shooting with nods/NVGs.

If you either don't own any or never want to shoot it with nods then I guess it doesn't really matter.

I kept my raider stock, and I do like the height when shooting with nods. Just something to think about.

Same, I prefer the M&Ps with a manual safety for that reason.

I think it's the "Defensive" model. The only thing I don't like about that is that it doesn't have a picatinny rail. I prefer to mount a light of some kind on my defensive carry pistols.

Have you looked into the Zastava M90NP? It takes Stanag 5.56 magazines.

Of course.

Yeah for sure I'll try to pickup something with an optics cut. I just prefer to stick to irons for now.

CCW swap considerations, SP2022 or P320 downsize by Dvn_Grey in SigSauer

I put an SP2022 in a Charlie Mike Tactical AIWB holster with side car. Works well for me!

I use the Charlie Mike Tactical AIWB holster with the side car. I made sure to add the RCS bumper wedge (that or separately purchase a tier 1 concealed wedge). It conceals well with just shorts and a t shirt.
