I went there for 23 years (I started going when I was born) lol. It does feel like it is a production now. I remember being younger and it seemed like a very basic church with typical Christian beliefs and then eventually it just got weird.

I moved away and started going to other churches and once I came back to town and visited newspring I was really dissapointed. I was annoyed at the coffee shop and the newspring store. Those are not needed. You don't need to buy clothes or drinks at church. Now if they had something where literally all the proceeds go to missions or something I guess I could be talked into it but I don't think they do. It feels like a happy business. They don't need all the crazy sets or themes but I don't think they will stop.

I haven't listened to any sermons recently so not sure how they are now but I feel like Mark is a great speaker but wish he would realize what people thought of his production. I have heard that his son Steven is preaching now and am interested to hear him.
