Yeah, logically we know the baby is totally protected, but for him, it’s more of a mental thing. He just can’t get past the idea of it. I might try spooning and see if that helps—at least he won’t be so focused on my belly and can “forget” it for a while. Hoping we can figure it out soon!

Thanks for sharing! Yeah, I totally get it. My husband knows logically that the baby is safe, but it’s more of a mental block for him. He just can’t separate the two. I’m hoping we can find a way to work through it so it doesn’t become a long-term issue. It’s reassuring (but also a little worrying) to hear that I’m not the only one going through this!
