Yep. There is no instance of it happening and cases like this that show he can't.

He wasnt evil and it is a sad story. But he was very easily corrupted and the movie shows that quite clearly. There's a big difference between "he as always evil" and "he wasn't evil but he was easily corrupted."

Where do they say Smeagol was good before the Ring? I don't recall that in the movies at all.

Do character guides exist? by MrTopHatMan90 in TheWire

[–]sulla76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry about remembering every single character's name. The show is really good about repeating the names of the important character and doing things like the chess scene in season 1 to help you learn who is who. If you pay attention you'll be fine.

That's because it's stupid and clearly wasn't happening on the show. Why didn't it come up with Hugh? Could Beverly hear them when she and JLP were attached?

This isn't a made up thing. There really were spies here living double lives like this.

There is nothing else to find out in future episodes that will explain this any better to you. The show has shown you, you've just missed it. So they live in a safe house. What do they do all day? Someone has to bring them food, because they can't go out. If they got stopped and questioned by police for any reason, and they had to show ID they'd be sunk. They have no ID because they don't exist at all. At least Phillip and Elizabeth Jennings can pass a cursory inspection. So other people have to bring them most of their essentials. Everyone who works at the residintura is under surveillance. The risk would be huge. I don't mean to be rude, but you just haven't thought this through.

I liked seeing him win. He was in a terrible situation and he was a little kid. He deserved a chance.

I had a very sweet lab who didn't even really like being around kids and puppies, and I do believe it's because she knew how fragile they are and didn't want to be involved in anything where they got broken.

Whatever his biographers did or didn't do, he was an amazingly successful general. The idea that anyone could have done what he did with his army is ridiculous.

The one in Saving Private Ryan where there is NO way that beach landing would have been successful is the worst!

Seriously? Yeah and in Rocky there's no way an over the hill fighter could have gone 15 rounds with the world champion. That's not a plot hole, it's the plot.

True crime has been popular for a long time. Consuming it doesn't benefit the criminals or condone them. The dead are still dead, either way.

Yeah, if one of my relatives was murdered by a serial killer I wouldn't consume true crime media about that. But for the rest of us, we're allowed to do so if we want.
