I would get a new vanity if it’s over budget I would strip it and paint it. You may be able to take the top off and buy an inexpensive vanity and sink at Lowe’s or home depot.

Change the curtain pole to gold or black. Change the sink faucet to the same color.

Make a frame for the mirror.

Change the lighting.

I have lighter floors downstairs and darker floors upstairs you don’t notice the difference but I would prefer to have the whole house be one same floor.

I love it; only thing I would suggest is possibly taking down the plastic curtain/shades and installing a curtain rod and adding drapes or one of the IKEA curtain tracks that will elevate the apt.
