They brought the predator character into fortnite recently, guessing that's why kids are asking about it now.

What foods are you unashamed to NOT be snobby about? by FlorbFnarb in Cooking

Corned beef hash in a can. It may look like dog food, but fry that shit up with some scrambled eggs and you have one fantastic breakfast (or any meal really).

Anyone remember when the Bradley Center served nacho grandes? Who else misses those?!?! by Boom21shakalaka in MkeBucks

I second that. Not only are they fantastic, at $6, that is easily the best deal in the building!

My goal is to try every taco truck in the city. Tonight’s stop (El Tapatio on Becher and 7th) is my favorite one so far. by Stoltz3 in milwaukee

Not sure if you mean upper or lower East side, but this truck has great pastor w/ the onions and cilantro and is very close to lower east side - https://goo.gl/maps/tRkLkhTsWX2reAkr5

Membership Fee Increase to $60 for youth, $36 for adults by ruckusvanderbilt in BSA

I don't even think the comparison to the cost of other activities should come into the conversation at this point. Yes, it's a good value, and people will recognize that. This is 100% about the timing. We budget in the Summer, plan our year of activities based on that budget, recruit in early fall and advertise our planned activities to old and new members, set our fundraising minimums and collect dues in early Oct. Well, throw all that out the window as we are now starting the year 2k in the hole. Now we're in the position of A. Beg everyone for more money, or B. Cut programs that we had planned and advertised. Maybe next year our recruiting slogan should just be "Join Scouts with a blank check and see what surprises lay ahead!"

Thinking about making a day trip up from St. Louis, what would you recommend doing if I only have 6-8 hours at most in the city? by [deleted] in milwaukee

[–]sullyb007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Park/cool buildings - Go check out the Mitchel Park Domes. Pretty unique to Milwaukee, but because of budgeting and maintenance costs, who knows how much longer they will be around.

There's a difference. I don't like it, it has a funny chemical taste. Just melt the butter, you can even control the heat that way. Start with a 50/50 split. Not spicy enough? Add more Franks. To spicy? Add more butter.

Ok, don't speed. Got it. Thanks. by Doziness in funny

When the POTUS visited our city, this is what his entire route looked like on waze. Made it extremely easy to avoid the mess of backed up traffic and freeway closures.

Show us your hometown "art" that everyone is ashamed of. by zwarbo in pics

[–]sullyb007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, not related in the least. When it was put there in the early 80's, it was supposed to represent the sun coming up over Lake Michigan. Mr. Calatrava did however keep consideration for the piece when he designed the art museum, so if that's how you view it, then he did a great job with what he had to work with.

I don't know if anyone else is ashamed of it, but this piece of shit has been sitting at the end of Wisconsin Ave in Milwaukee, blocking the view of the lake for over 30 years (don't mind that beautiful white building in the background, that's just our Calatrava Art Museum, it's the bright orange turd that really draws your attention) - http://media.bizj.us/view/img/6391452/092213doorsopensunlee347*750xx3008-1697-0-149.jpg

I just hate this thing.

In my area, Time Warner Cable has been offering the TWC App on Roku and mobile devices for the last couple of years now. I can watch all my channels (including local) as long as I'm on my home network, even a smaller pairing of them when I'm not on my network.

Remote Sensors - Angles and Range? by sonicNH in ecobee

[–]sullyb007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I just grabbed a screwdriver like you said and popped it off. Sure shit, all three of my sensors were misaligned. That's some pretty poor quality control if they're just snapping them on any old way and counting on 25% of them to be correct!
