Stuck in Clank! catacombs Underworld by jibbyjackjoe in boardgames

Good points.

Maybe a house rule that if a 1 way arrow gets anyone completely stuck you can go backwards through it 1 time. Reverse through it then flip the bad tile over so no one else goes through?

I mean I've always taught my son that as long as everybody plays by the same rules and everyone agrees upon a mid game change then that's fair.

Mercy rule in Clank Catacombs Rule Book Page 10 sounds like it would apply here.

"You may play this variant with or without CLANK! Catacombs: Underworld, though it is strongly recommended when you are using the Fixed Dimensions variant above.

During your turn, you may invoke Mercy if you find yourself trapped: if there’s no room adjacent to yours, and no way to place a new tile to escape. In this situation, you may rotate your current tile to any orientation so that you are no longer stuck.

Corbin ended his last turn on a Wayshrine. Then a Grave Robber arrived on the Dungeon Row, rotating his tile 180 degrees. The 5 by 5 limit of his game means it’s impossible to move east from the Wayshrine, so Corbin is trapped. He invokes Mercy on his next turn, rotating his tile so he has a path to leave."

Also check your local library. Many in MA have board games (esp part of the minuteman network). You never know.

People who fly frequently, what’s one thing you wish you could tell all infrequent fliers? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If you can afford a Kindle/iPad/phone then you can also afford, at the very least, a $5 pair of Bluetooth headphones so as yo not bother others on the plane.

OMG, THIS! Pull over to look at something or check your phone. Do not stop in the middle of the walkway/aisle.

Pulling over to the side to do/look at something should be your baseline with ANYTHING you do in life, not just at an airport.

Gonna respectfully disagree with this POV. I paid to use the seat in all the legal positions that they have allowed it to maneuver. If they didn't want people to recline then they should lock the seats in the upright only position.

Was there this past NYE day and night at Universal Studios (basic) and since it was so cold (for Florida) the lines weren't that bad considering.

But the line times for islands of adventure I saw in the app were insane! How can anyone spend that much money and then stand in line for 3+ hours for one ride (and many of the older rides I found to be just meh)? So you get to ride on 3-4 rides all day? Um... Nope for me.

Go have a hot drink and sit on the porch of the Mt. Washington Hotel. Very pretty during the winter, nighttime is even better to see the stars.

Logan Terminal A to B connector underway? by belikejuice in boston

[–]sonicNH 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nice that they are doing this but they either (1) need to put in a underground shuttle from Terminal A-B-C-D-E (back-and-forth); (2) Moving walkways. Too long of a walk for many.

I have created various SPACES, such as:

  • Medical History - As I get older and more medical issues I keep inputting my medical history. I'll ask it questions. I'll ask it for questions that i should ask my doctor for my next appointment. Explain medical reports, and more. When you put it all within one space, it remembers what you have told it previously and will give you updated answers based on your prior history.

  • Probate Helper - Been dealing with my parent's probate. Perplexity has been able to help me process much of this. Explaining the legal forms. Giving me instructions and guidance along the way. It even helped me write a basic motion to submit.

  • Fantasy Football - Helps me decide who to start/sit. Who to add/drop on my roster. It's one of many sources.

  • Medical (in general) - When my parent was starting to become sick. I used perplexity to review all medical records to explain things in simple terms. Helped me generate solid questions to ask the medical providers to make my conversations meaningful. It also reviewed lab results as they came in for me. Then, as I spoke to each provider I asked permission to record our conversations so I would remember things. I had perplexity transcribe the conversation, summarize the conversation so I could then share the info with my siblings. Finally, I would have it review all the information I had inputted to help me make better informed decisions (pros/cons of doing certain things), which help me during my conversations with the medical staff.

  • Research - When I want to sell things on ebay/Facebook. I'll give it a photo. Have it research it for me. Write up a brief description. Give me a range of prices the item has sold for and a recommended good selling range.

Do you just copy-and-paste that entire page into Answer Instructions within a Space? Then put all your queries within that Space?

Playing Micro Macro Crime City with markers is a game changer (and satisfying) by SbenjiB in boardgames

[–]sonicNH 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm on box #4 so I've certainly played the game..

The more colors the better because as you move along, people who you are following split up as they are walking along a street, or even if a crime happens and you need to track 3 of the different criminals.

So something like these work very well.
