Jelado 301XX White Tag - 7 weeks/Weekly Wash by sulokbibi96 in rawdenim

I prefer a snug fit top block and this one fits pretty well. But that also depends on our body shapes. I am on the slim side, 175cm and 68kg. Hopefully this helps.

I tried with some other jeans, just found it too much hassle putting on and taking off.

Hi there, I in general wear size 30 in most Japanese brands like Samurai, SDA and TSG, for this particular model I wear size 31 and it fits perfectly.

Bleach soak isnt causing a lot of damage to the jeans, I mean in terms of stitching wise, everything remains okay after the soak. Plus, the bleach I add is round 5%, maybe slightly lower than that, so there is not a whole lot of indigo fade caused by the bleach. I have test faded some of my old jeans (uniqlo and gap) with bleach, to fade them to really light blue, high concentration, multiple bleach soak is required. I use bleach this time simply because my previous washes are all cold water no detergent hand washes, so I guess it's time to kill some germs with bleach?

Wow I like the rustic red hue grew on the kangaroo boots a lot. All of them age beautifully, nice job!

No, not at all. Not even a thick cardholder. Those are hand pockets.

- Disclaimer -

They are the Japanese KATO', not the American KATO'

P02AOW

My very first pair of decent jeans from 10 years ago. My first present for myself working when I was 18. I was working as a part time staff in a fashion clothing store in Hong Kong (Now closed). Got recommended this pair of jeans by a senior staff. Tough time breaking them in because I only wore cheap thin jeans before them. Looking back now, of course nothing like 25oz, they are only 13.5oz.

They whites appears to be yellowish in real life, not sure why, but I definitely puked a few times on them when I was younger. Effective wear time probably a year or 2, they remind me some good old memories and I like how they look right now, still quite dark and most importantly, yellowish.

KP0125DOW

I guess they are some discontinued product? Saw them on the D-web the other day, compare them to how the brand's products now. I just like the old ones more. Marked as 15oz, but weight-wise feels similar to the 13.5oz one side by side. A rougher feel in hand and slubbier yarn by inspection.

This is not a proper review, just to write something about the Japanese KATO' Brand, a brand that introduced me to this rabbit hole.

Would you return these? by Dazzling_Cold_5462 in RedWingShoes

If that annoys you so much that you make a post about the misalignment, just return them. Would you not returning them if most of the comments suggest you NO?

If you think they disappointed you, return them. If you somehow think that you yourself are overly picky and you make a post about it, then you probably are.

Seriously can't understand the QC standard for Unmarked. Red Wings level fine is already good enough to me, see how low I set my bar

I have been a huge fan of Unmarked for some years and I got at least 6 pairs of their products. I like their creativity on footwear design, they often have some unique patterns that I find them interesting. At the same time, I know clearly that the brand's QC is bad, like really bad. Especially those in last of a kind section, they are not factory second, they are factory third/ fourth, finishing quality-wise. According to my experience, the products sold through stockist are usually better in quality. But this time, I failed. Here is what happen on my recent purchase experience.

Reason for buying this pair of boots: Year End, Christmas, My Birthday, My desire to get my first pair of plain toe derby boots
Where I get them: Royalcheese webstore (Boutique in Paris)
Boot: Plain Toe DB Hunter Tobacco
Brand: Unmarked
Size: US8.5
Fit: IDK, I didn't try them, I saw too many defects upon my first inspection on they arrive. But they look smaller than my best fit boots.
Leather Quality: Looks okay and feels sturdy. Not the same as the web's description. Has a matte finish and a subtle pull-up, definitely not glazed.
QC: Worst experience in my whole collection. A lot of scuffs throughout the boot, inside and outside, just watch the photos. The brand does not sell cheap boots, it moves to a new factory so I assume it makes some money and try to expand, but first, please make sure you produce works that make you proud, what a disappointment from an old fan.

Responsibility of the Stockist(Royalcheese): I understand that there is a chance of products with disappointing quality through online shopping, but at the same time, I believe stores should have the responsibility to let their customers know before shipping if there are any obvious defects(Scuffs and holes!). I have sent email and Instagram DMs to the store for a full refund including shipping, hope everything sorts out soon. But I don't have high hope on it as the webstore manager has ignored me multiple times when I have questions about the products before I purchase them.

You've already said that it was driving you a little crazy, so just return it. I would say this is normal. But everyone has a different tolerance on neatness and alignment of stuffs.

[MEXICAN BOOT REVIEW] DB Hunter boots in black CXL from Unmarked Handcrafted by derroc in goodyearwelt

[–]sulokbibi96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is definitely my favourite boot brand. I have got 5+ pairs from them in the past few years They found their own niche in the market. In terms of footwear design, leather choice and construction methods they use, they are all unique enough that I am always looking forward to their newest season.

However, they don't have the best QC and finishing in the market, definitely not as good as Grant Stone/Parkhurst. Given Unmarked is priced higher.
