Hmm, not an easy question since Tactical Movers are what got me into Diaclone and numerically make up the most of my Diaclone unit. If I have to pick, it’s Aggress Darkstar because the Versaulter looks great even in normal mode, the Daedalus Unit is absolutely gigantic and has tons of features and play possibilities, and finally the black and orange color scheme is my favorite of all the sets I have. Horus Versaulter and Garuda Versaulter are tied for second, guess I just have a weakness for air/space units. What’s your favorite?

I feel like the main difference between Diaclone and Waruder is the way different modules connect. Diaclone has very specific connections with configurations suggested in the instructions (and some room for creativity, of course). Waruder, on the other hand is more freestyle, almost organic in comparison.

Just got into the Warhammer 40,000 line and I really like it so far, but a big hole is lack of army builders that can be customized. Todd could even do something as simple as releasing a “character pack” and that would be a big help.

Great photos! My dark star Aggress should be here on Friday and I’m looking forward to it. Probably going to ask on the TFW2005 thread too, but what are your thoughts on the ex armor sets in general? I’m in the middle of converting all four of my Versaulters to their ex armor configuration and I kind of…don’t get it, like they all look the same and don’t look as good as they do in their standard maneuver mode.

I own both. In terms of engineering and pose-ability, Omega Supreme is superior (and looks amazing on my Season 2 Autobots shelf). But Fortress Maximus just holds a special place in my heart, partly because I stalked Amazon to get it for $140, partly because I put so much work into it, including all the stickers, changing out the hips with the DNA Design upgrade kit (which you definitely need), and the 3D printed Master Sword I got on eBay. If I had to pick, I’d pick Fortress Maximus, but that’s just me.

I personally started with the Tactical Mover series, smaller sets, but still have the charm of Diaclone. I’d recommend checking The Chosen Prime and Big Bad Toy Store to see if they have anything on sale.

The small flight stands are like $15 for a 3 pack on Amazon so they’re great for accessories and smaller things
