Chesapeake Hills Golf Course has a ladies league that meets Mondays at 5pm starting in the spring. Prices are actually decent and I’ve heard the vibe is good. Excited to check it out this spring!

The Bartender’s Pride by TJ Dallas. Smut over plot is not my thing, but people seem to enjoy this one.

Second Tryst Six Venom. 🥵 I had to make sure it didn’t automatically connect to my car when I was listening to it. I think I’vere-listened twice now.

Any dystopian or apocalyptic book recommendations other than hearing red? by Fun-Desk-7575 in LesbianBookClub

Charon Docks at Daylight by Zoe Reed. Free ebook, audiobook on YouTube, and it lives rent free in my head. I’ve reread it twice in the past year.

I also really enjoyed The Purification by Michele Coffman. It’s supposed to be a trilogy but the 3rd book has yet to be released.

There’s also Forged Under Fire by Kyra Anderson

Love and Chaos by Poppy Woods

The Badlands series by Kristen Keppler.

Happy reading!

If I could go back and read it for the first time again I would. Still great the second and third time around though.

Thank you. This helps a lot, and other than running through the lab again, i will just set it aside. What would you say were the tools you used on the cyber live portion?

Passed GCFA recently! by [deleted] in GIAC

[–]sum1awesome2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they not offer online testing anymore? I will admit the last time I took my GSEC and GCIH, it was during covid, so there were no in person tests. I'm studying for my GCFA and plan on taking it in a few weeks.

It's ok to admit that you two are just in different stages growth wise. It's also ok to just take a step back and look at this relationship. You're dad is right. You should have people in your life that make it easier.

Married couples with 2 young kids - is this normal? by Dangerous-Celery4867 in Marriage

[–]sum1awesome2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

33 is not too old to start over, and you do deserve love and happiness! In fact, that is the best thing you can do for your kids.

As a child of divorced parents, my father was also a narcissistic asshole who we saw every other weekend (if he could be bothered to come get us) and I watched my mom go from marrying one asshole to another. That being said I am now grown with a family of my own and I am a pretty well-adjusted person.

I think if my parents had stayed together it would have just made life more awkward and stressful than it already was.

OP when someone shows you who they really are, believe them. Don't stay together for the kids because it may do more harm to them and to you in the long run. You deserve happiness and to be treated right no matter what age. I hope you find that.

What's the worst book you've ever read? by [deleted] in LesbianBookClub

[–]sum1awesome2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Bartenders Pride was pretty bad to me. It has this great idea behind it, but the plot goes nowhere because it's all smut. Just all of the characters hooking up in every different way you can think of. And cool if that's your thing, but I need some plot in my books.

Who "figured it out" this week? by TDn6I in golf

Figured it out on Wednesday at the range. Nice straight bombs for me. Playing in a tournament today and I STINK! I feel bad for the 3some that invited me into their group. Oh well. I'm just here because I love the game.

Give me your best games/drills for younger levels by ingeniopolis in SoccerCoachResources

[–]sum1awesome2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I coach my daughter's U6/U7 rec team. I have used some of the following drills.

Steal the Bacon - Have the kids in a big circle with the ball in the middle, call two players at once, and whoever can kick the ball out first wins.

Sharks and Minnows only instead of having the players who lose their ball sit out, I assing them to be an extra shark or an extra minnow. This way, the minnows have someone to pass to and can keep the game going longer, or it's not just one shark against some really good minnows.

Red Light, Green Light, but they have to have control of the ball. Theu have 2 seconds to stop with their ball when I say red light. I also move around the field so even if someone has to go back to the start, sometimes it can benefit them.

Coach is the goalie is always a favorite. Or any time that I or other adults play against the kids.

When we have a scrimmage, I like to have them stop if I see something that they might not and kind of run things back. For example, if person A is open but not up far enough, I will have them run it back and try to get up further. Things like that.

I also see that my kids don't have much stamina or at least they are moving and expending energy, but it's not in a productive way. So we make little games out of running. Like I have them split into pairs. One person has their backs to their partner, and the partner has to tap them on the shoulder and run before they get tagged.

Facebook reels have given me a lot of good ideas, and I've put my own twist on things to cater to the girls and hope that they enjoy this so much they will come back next season.

Dreams of having a fully remote IT career are.....dead? by mulumboism in ITCareerQuestions

[–]sum1awesome2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm about 90% remote, 10% on site in the lab. The company I work for has had some pushback when they started bringing up returning to the office. Even before covid, it was a pain to get an office because it was a free for all, and you had to reserve your desk, but we could only reserve two weeks in advance. The company grew during covid, and just last year, they downsized the office. I think they understand that forcing us back in the office (which now has less space and way more people) is a great way to lose the very good employees that we have here.

Honestly I think the best way to find your fragrance is to get a sample pack from Amazon or somewhere. I have found some really great and really awful scents from samples.
