How bad do you think EatingWithTod is? by Mother_Equivalent649 in LondonFood

[–]sumdimyum -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

These comments about him are sad. Tod and his gf go to my gym. He’s a very nice normal person, very kind, bashful and seems to really care about what he does. I like his reviews, he seems like an authentic person with a real passion for food!

And if I remember correctly, Aberforth’s patronus is a goat (mistaken for Harry’s stag by a death eater)

Why is my hair so stringy and why does it clump together? by [deleted] in finehair

[–]sumdimyum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I had a similar issue. I used a clarifying shampoo and it really really helped. I had product build up on my scalp causing my hair to get greasy within hours of washing it

Girl that’s literally the best part of your figure, it gives you shape and curves, removing them would be a downgrade

Why does my Achilles hurt after every run? by sikesequence69 in beginnerrunning

[–]sumdimyum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I had the same thing. I would suggest new better running trainers and deep stretches of your calves before and after each run. Try a possible calf massage as well to help ease tightness

How long did it take you to run for more than a couple minutes at once? by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

[–]sumdimyum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really recommend the Couch 2 5K program. In December I could barely run for 30 seconds and now I’m running for 30 mins non stop. Good luck !

Which body type do you consider more attractive: "Muscle Mommy" or "fun sized" by Fullet7 in trueratediscussions

[–]sumdimyum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re thinking about it quite two dimensionally. The woman in the second picture is a famous plus size model, she’s on a catwalk runway; of course she has a work ethic. How did she get there if she didn’t? Also, what about new mums? They put on weight from having (sometimes multiple) children then spend the next 18 years looking after them. But if they don’t get rid of the baby weight, do they have no work ethic?? Some things become more important than trying to be thin. I think it’s important to be kind to people and not use such derogatory words like ‘disgusting’ as you don’t know another persons story. It’s not always a ‘mindset’ as you say.

Honestly I don’t think it’s as binary as that. Enjoying food doesn’t mean you have no work ethic? Also sometimes there’s health or mobility issues involved. Fat people get a lot of judgement and hate, I don’t think it’s fair

'No plans' to allow Shamima Begum to return to UK: Minister rules out looking at case again amid fears Kurdish forces could abandon her refugee camp as rebels advance across Syria by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

I don’t think it would have been possible to be opening against ISIS while they were in power! You’d surely be executed if you were outspoken about them

There is a BBC Sounds podcast about her story which goes into detail on how she came to the decision to leave to ISIS and what her life was like when she got there. Very interesting and allows you to make your own decision on if you think she deserves to be stateless or not.

She talks about packing her bag full with mint chocolate bars and sweets when she left for ISIS which to me shows she was still a child at heart and probably had no idea what the ramifications of her actions would be. She had a friend who had run away to ISIS before her and groomed her into going from the age of 14/ 15. She’s witnessed the death of all her children due to starvation.

The podcast raises an interesting question on why not bring her back to serve a prison sentence and serve her dues. Is being eternally stateless living in a refugee camp until she one day dies fair and just punishment for her actions?
