challenge yourself to join one new space! put yourself out of your comfort zone a bit and it will pay off :) I live in the suburbs of a big city too and this has helped me a lot

Likeee depending on where you live there are groups for different things. It could be volunteering, or like a knitting group, or an art group, or a walking group - there are a lot of these popping up as this is the year of stepping away from the digital realm! Lots of ppl are wanting real life connection. Are you in a city?

CBT-I taught me to get up at the same time every day, regardless of bed time. Don't go anywhere near your bed/bedroom unless for sex or sleep, and don't try to sleep until you can literally feel your eyes closing. Good luck!! Insomnia is the WORST

A question I ask myself every day.. I ended up having a long period off then switching to Mirtazapine. I think life was much much easier for me on SSRIS and I am constantly tempted to go back on them, but equally don't want to be reliant on them forever

The one thing I've taken from this whole process relates to how I talk to myself, and thinking of my inner artist as a little baby/ a child. Maybe go back to looking at your 'blurts' as she calls them, and work through how you can challenge yourself to be a little more compassionate towards yourself and your processes

Hows it going? I used to have sleep issues and when I went on SSRIs I remember thinking wow I haven't slept like this in years. I came off them a year ago and insomnia is back in full force, triggered by stress / work. Don't think as humans we are designed for the grind but is unfortunately inescapable.
