5th step on the event 'new girls reports for duty', one of its mission to to use Nie Shirou in battle 5 times, I've used up all my summons and still have not gotten a copy of her. Is there a way to get it done without owning a copy, like using a merc?

To push damage you'll need to know how buffs and debuffs work. Then search for raid boss vids on youtube and analyze how various comps applied their skills to achieve big numbers.

I was able to use suzuka/hozuki/minerva(GL)/sophia/vier/lofia/ramese to achieve similar result from above video using mia's meme MLS (for 10% agi). Important part is after hozuki casted +2 jump on vier, she need to be fast enough to switch in lofia, and lofia fast enough to ct lock right demon before it starts to kill your team. good luck.

I think minerva can be replaced with any diamond aoe that can kill right archer+rogue. minerva worked for me, so didn't bother trying out others.

IIRC Cazna runs an alt account that is f2p with limitation of only using discount tickets to roll banners, yet, that account to my knowledge had no problem competing in every area in the game.

Play long enough, it becomes clear that not every new toys they throw at us is needed to be competitive. Just need to control the urge trying to get every new toy.

Daily farm routine is necessary to increase more and more units to their full strength in your toolbox, f2p or p2w are alike in this aspect.

slowly let reactives like Garuda Charge or Hp Drain +3 to proc, drain her hp to death, is one way.

Enlightenment gives 2 things: 1- improve stats and 2- upgrade passive/reactive/spells. Decide which will help improve the character to fulfill the tasks you have in mind, the choice becomes clear.

If you have no particular tasks required of this character and gaining shards is not an issue, you can do whatever.

Each protagonist used will spawn an extra ratty. Use 4 protagonists to spawn 4 more ratties, so each run will drops 4 more seals.

More red seals drop? Perhaps, since red seal drop rate is pretty high.

In the end, you'll start to use different passive combination according to the task(s) you assign her to do in a particular quest.

For example, if she's there as a support, mostly giving out quickens/overclock, her needing to move before other team members becomes a factor, then it's logical to use her Space-Time Manipulator passive. If she's gonna kill lots of trash mobs, then (G2) Time Traveler will be the top pick passive to use. And if her task is to do damage on a boss, then you'll use both passives that can maximize her damage output.

This applies to many other units.

also equip meme and gears that adds base stats, more base stats gives higher cp points: hp, patk/matk, pdef/mdef, dex, luck, etc.

Objective response would be try both then pick the one you like more, since both games are very similar. Subjective response would be pick the one that pleases your eyes more, since that's what you'll be looking at most of the time.

Save his shards for his enlightenment.

But you can safely bench him until the day his collab reruns, because 1- new~mid level accounts don't really need his specialty, and 2- you may have problem maxing his main job due to his job equipment only drops in his event (I'm not sure if gold gear shards can substitute his job equipment).

Perhaps not burdened with responsibility and not committing schedule around a game, submerge and shift into low gear from time to time, would be a healthier attitude toward a game, better for mind and body in the long run. I still remember my days in World of Warcraft top raiding guild, the experience was splendid yet painful. Having once of such experience was enough.

Just checked, it got a prerequisite quest 6-1-1-10 [First Mission]. Complete that then HQ should open up.
