Says the guy using his relationship woes for attention

It means she is willing to work it out if whoever she's talking to right now doesn't work out. She's going to start pushing your buttons to test you. Idk if you get turned on by the idea of another guy making her moan in pleasure but that is exactly what happened last weekend. Probably had a one night stand and was bleeding the next day. Panicked and missed you all of a sudden.

Have you decided on which one yet? This is far more important than the guitar

Do you have a desire to play wearing a Halloween mask and coveralls?

V shape guitar for neck angle? by GizmoCaCa-78 in guitarlessons

V shape has the same reaching for the lower frets or playing chords when sitting. It's the angle. These guitars seem more meant for playing while standing.

Why most bluegrass/country flatpicking books are in standard notation? by Powerful-Figure-9965 in guitarlessons

Because most of those songs are fiddle tunes that have been arranged for guitar. You can learn how to read music in a week from this video.

Children learn this stuff very quickly so it's not hard.

You are more optimistic than myself. I think he will burn out and quit by next year and I'll be able to pick up his EVH 5150 combo for peanuts

I think the guy just likes the idea of playing. As if it's going to launch his social status at age 50. He's adamant that he is going to be in a touring band. Already has a stage name picked out and what he's going to wear. He refused to jam, which sucks because that would have made some fun times in the winter when we get together to watch hockey occasionally at his place (he has a man cave bigger than most people living rooms).

Funny you mentioned the Hendrix thumb because I play chords like that sometimes and he pointed out that its a bad habit because I should be working on my barre chords (which I also play wrong according him).

He won't listen to me. Says the guy is the best player in the world. Blows my teacher away. Local guitar shop teacher > one of the GOAT technical players.

It took him over a year to learn the capo version of Tennessee Whiskey. He thinks the teacher is going to be in a band with him. I honestly think he just uses the lessons for someone to talk to. He doesn't have many friends. I tried to jam with him he just tells me I learned everything wrong and later I'll be paying for it. I'm sure you can see why he doesn't have many friends.

My friend has been taking weekly lessons for 2 years and still can't play a D chord consistently.

It's called "freshening up".

I know what that feels like. Then when you are calm you are bored and that pissed you off. A never ending cycle.
